- If Masae Atago is Hiroe and Kinue's mother (I'm not sure if this is explicitly confirmed, or where this is found), why is she teaching as a mahjong advisor in a different prefecture from her daughters?
- I think its to avoid the issue of nepotism. Take note Funaq who was just her niece has that controversy floating around her. What more if both Hiroe and Kinue made the team in Senriyama? Better enroll in another school and avoid the issue altogether.
