  • What happened to the Sogaleo that helped birth Nebby?
    • Ultra Space is an infinite Multiverse so perhaps it left to patrol other Alola regions or equivalents once it felt Nebby was in good hands.
  • Why doesn't Nanu just resign if he's too damn lazy to do his job?
    • It's not that simple. There seem to be a number of trials necessary to become Kahuna and you have to be accepted by the respective Guardians of Alola. And those guys are picky, if Hapu's difficult standing with Tapu-Fini is anything to go by. He has the acceptance of Tapu-Bulu and it would take a while to secure a replacement, so he probably can't resign as easily.
    • The games note how a once a Tapu picks their Kahuna, it's An Offer You Can't Refuse and the chosen is more or less forced to hold onto the position for the rest of their life. Plus it's possible that native Alolans have records of the consequences of those who tried to reject the Tapus' decision.
  • Why did Lillie never tell her mother that she had a trauma of not being able to touch Pokémon? If she had this trauma for years, wouldn't that be the first thing to do?
    • It's been established that she couldn't remember why. And given her strained relationship with her mother at the time, she probably felt it wouldn't have done any good anyway.
  • Why didn't Gladion try to convince someone else about what happened with Faba, Nihilego, and Lillie? He blamed his mom for not noticing, but he himself held the answers all along, and he could've talked to Hobbs, Kukui, Wicke, or Burnet as well.
    • These people are all subordinate to his mother, so either Gladion did tell them and they did not believe him, or he simply presumed they would not believe him at all. Though for Lillie specifically he likely didn't want her to relive the trauma.
