• As the comic is supposed to tie into the shows continuity, where does it fit? It looks like issues 1 to 6 are Simultaneous Arcs with "Uncommon Bond", with Sunburst visiting from the Crystal Empire. But the events don't seem to add up. The episode shows he's staying at Twilight's, while the comics suggest he's staying at Canterlot (maybe he moved to Canterlot afterwards). In the comics, Starlight claims he been there for days, while we only see one day pass in the show (maybe they passed offscreen, Starlight's obsessing over his not spending time with her in the episode makes more sense now). When Sunburst departs in the comics, only Starlight's present, but in the episode they're with Twilight, Trixe, and Maud (maybe they were offscreen at the time). Can we call this Simultaneous Arcs? Is this a case of Loose Canon because of those potential contradictions, or are they too small and rationalizable to count (it's still much closer than the comics usually are).
