• So what exactly is the origin story of Wilford Warfstache? Is there any particular significance to the character? How did he come to be?
  • It's explained on the Markiplier Wiki that he first appeared in "The Fall of Slenderman" sketch, as a reporter interviewing Slender Man (It Makes Just As Much Sense In Context). Mark found the mustache and put on a silly voice both as an imitation of newscasters and an attempt to keep the mustache on. He has since made appearances in other videos, generally those involving Slendy.
