• What are the Shadow Lemmings supposed to be?
  • They're a Lemming subspecies from the demiplane of Shadows.
  • They're ninjas. This is made much more clear in Lemmings Chronicles.
  • Ninjas, that is with some overlap into cat burglars as suggested by the feel of their levels and music.
