Headscratchers for Kung Fury.
- If Hitler was already in 1985, why Fury decides to travel back in time to fight him?
- Probably to end Hitler before he could do any harm.
- Obviously that didn't work - Hitler came to present day with his robot eagle via time travel, but why did Kung Fury lose his memory?
- He didn't, you can see when he notices the swastika on the arcade machine, him going through multiple flashbacks to his fight in 1945.
- This movie is literally every 80's action movie cliche distilled into a single movie, the answer is 'because it was more awesome that way.
- So that Hitler's time travel doesn't do any permanent damage to the timeline. As noted above, it looks like he somewhat failed. At the very least, it looks like the present day world doesn't appear to be overun by nazis.
