  • Beth says that Hung is an accidental millionaire, but we never find out why.
    • Beth says he's living with his accidental millionaire friend, not that it's Hung — it's implied obliquely that Eric's sales of real weapons and armor have made him a controversial figure in the LARP, and Joe goes on to say that everything Eric does is about hiding from reality. Combine this with him buying an ancient book off ebay to use as a prop and living in a fake castle, while still having a rundown van, and it's likely that Eric's the accidental millionaire, likely off of the quality of his props.
    • To add to the confusion: There are character cards made by comingsoon.net of the four main characters. The one for Hung states that he's the accidental millionaire. You can find them easily via Google image.
      • Maybe Hung won the lottery, and bankrolled Eric's weaponsmithing?
  • If Eric can't understand Enochian, a plot point late in the film, how was he reading from the book at all? I may be hugely mistaken, but it didn't seem to me that the book used the Latin/Roman alphabet, so he couldn't have even been just making the sounds.
    • I would assume he was just making up a random awesome-sounding fantasy language and happened to luck out (or not, as the case may be) by accidently translating some sections correctly.
    • Given the way the climax goes down, maybe you don't even have to read the book for the spells to work.
