• If Piccolo couldn't hear Gohan's whistling after tearing off his ears, how could he hear Gohan asking him what he meant?
  • Perhaps he could still hear Gohan’s whistling after tearing off his ears, but not loudly enough to hurt.
• Why would a Namekian have any interest in terraforming Earth into a frozen wasteland? The result should be just as inhospitable to Lord Slug as to the Earthlings.
  • Slug himself didn't actually appear to need the cold. Rather, almost all the members of his crew and pirate army.
