Why do the vampires look like Fish People? Or, more to the point, why do characters see these fish people and immediately call them vampires and treat them as such?
- Because Our Vampires Are Different. Specifically, these ones are based off barnacles and leeches rather than the classic models, which drew more on imagery surrounding vampire bats or wolves.
