- Why did Suki simply told the guild to move rather than bringing an entire army to shut them down and kill/jail them? And Suki releases all captives, even an evil slaver girl who busts her own slaver pirate boss from jail. In the epilogue, all the evil characters are either safe or unpunished, and the kidnapper guild relocates peacefully, a particularly dark detail suggests that the new port is where pirates sell girls into slavery, to the western kingdom nobles who have no qualms about maids who don't need to be paid. Right now, it may feel to one's mileage like a hollow victory at best. If anything, the world just got Darker and Edgier.
- For why Suki didn't seek an army on them, I'd say that she may have been worried that the guildmaster would kill the prisoners if a fight broke out and tried take another option. Or perhaps she's too nice for her own good, which would be consistent with her characterization so far. As for the victory being hollow and the world being Darker and Edgier, let's not forget that a war has been prevented with the Empire and the Maunak Eye is destroyed. That's two major threats resolved. The two major villains (Krystina and Elda) have been stopped and locked up, as well as Rolina and it's implied that the Sandstorm Guild is going to be wiped out by Haab's guards, so a good chunck of the evil characters have been punished. Now, Cherisa reigns alone and will be able to focus on fighting the rampant criminality, since her efforts won't be hindered by her mother's actions. Her army has also been purged from its more corrupt elements (notably Rielle) and will be more efficient in stopping the criminals. For instance, we can safely assume that with Rielle out of the picture, someone else (perhaps Marcia) was sent to Ghiaccio to put an end to Claude's illegal activities, depriving the Kidnapping Guild of one of its richest allies.
