Noor's husband

How does Donovan get him into Canada? According to Noor, her husband is in a refugee camp in Ethiopia, and the Canadian government has seemingly decided that, although he's married to a Canadian citizen, he's too dangerous to allow into the country due to his links with Islamist extremists. Yet in "Fire, Part 2", Donovan McAvoy, a homicide detective in the Toronto Police Service, is seemingly able to pull some strings with the federal government and get him to Toronto so Noor can be reuinted with him. How so?

Kelly's baby

In Season Two it's eventually established that Kelly lied about taking a dead drug addict's baby, and that the baby who was buried in the garden was in fact Noor's (he died of natural causes, only for Noor to team up with Kelly to bury him in the garden because she feared calling in the emergency services). The baby Kelly is seen with when she's arrested in "Fire, Part 2" is her child. So ... where was this child while Kelly was spending so much time ingratiating herself with Jenny and her family? Since she has no family of her own (assuming she wasn't lying about witnessing her parents being murdered), who was looking after him?

Sleepwalking Jenny

She certainly does some crazy things in her sleep, like almost burning her house down and removing a gun from the evidence room safe (the latter also being an indication of her Ultimate Job Security). This is taken to extremes in "The Flipside", when she manages to help solve a case in her sleep. WTF?

Ross's screwdriver

In "No Justice No Peace", Ross becomes a murder suspect when he's found to have a bloodstained screwdriver in his possession in the aftermath of a party at which someone was killed. It is established by the end of the episode that the victim was in fact killed before the party with a metal skewer, and that Ross was a convenient dupe who was very much in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, the screwdriver wasn't planted on him — he even admits that it's his and he meant to clean it. But what was he doing taking it to a party in the first place? And whose blood is on it?
  • Could be from when Gordon cut his hand while tinkering with the car in the previous episode — Ross was helping him by fetching the toolkit. If so, Fridge Brilliance.
