• The Wall of Life Working. If the Wall of Life didn't work in the movie,how is it working for USA if they're successfully hiding behind it?
  • Who's to say it didn't fail? The main campaign takes place half the globe away from the U.S.A. With world wide communications cut out, even if the wall did fall, there's no way for the rest of the world to hear about it.
    • As Red, White, and Romeo Blue reveals, the wall isn't working for the USA.
    • So can we write USA off as FUBAR except maybe a few survivors? (Except Alaska) I'm surprised how not a single flying kaiju was not seen in Alaska yet seen in Vladivostok,a city without a huge wall.
• What sort of circumstances could possibly have UN forces/JAEGERS assault one of the most effective resistance centers against the kaiju? Things are already extremely desperate. Why you'd bother attacking an ally whom, at absolute worst, simply doesn't follow your lead but has no capacity to interfere with your plans or territory is completely beyond me.
  • Evil Is Petty? Or maybe because the only reason why the people under UN control aren't revolting because their Jaegers are the only line of defense protecting them. So if they catch wind of surviving Kaiju Defense Forces they'll go on a revolt and try to escape?
