On The Flash S2 episode, "Enter Zoom", it was mentioned that on Earth-2, Robert Queen became a vigilante in Starling City known as The Hood, while his son Oliver Queen died at sea. However in this episode, Ardian Chase is shown as The Hood and a vigilante in Starling City, and even though the Queen Mansion is shown, there is no mention of Robert at any point in the episode.
- I'm gonna assume Robert died sometime after that reveal, and Adrian became his successor.
- This, plus the writing teams of each show don't have a good history of cooperating or comparing notes when world building outside of the crossovers.
- He was exposed as The Hood in Flash 2x06 so he could've been arrested since then.

- Or maybe back then Robert took the fall for the actual Green Arrow, whoever it may have been back then, like Roy did for Oliver on Earth-1.
- The Monitor had to find a way to get both Oliver and Tommy together to get the dwarf star particles, so he changed the sinking of The Gambit to match Earth-1, and just had Oliver rescued 7 years later.
- Since we don't know how Robert became the Arrow on Earth-2, it may be that he came home discreetly, spent some time working on how to save the city as the Hood before being caught and exposed, and then ended up passing the mantle on to Chase, either directly or indirectly.
- While it does seem odd that we don't see any mentions of Robert surviving the Queen's Gambit and becoming a vigilante, nothing explicitly contradicts it, either. You can assume that all discussions about Oliver's father took place off-screen, and weren't included in the episode to keep from bogging it down in tangents.
