• Wen Kexing breaks out the snark when dealing with the beggars.
  Wen Kexing: You are really good at confusing right and wrong. Being a beggar is wasting your talent. Why don't you become a lawyer?
• Wen Kexing gets drugged, so Zhou Zishu gives him the antidote and says it tastes sweet. Wen Kexing drinks it and immediately looks disgusted at the taste.
  Wen Kexing: Zhou Zishu, you lied! I'm going to tell my mother!
• Cao Weining can't pay his bill, so Wen Kexing offers to pay it for him. Then he reveals he hasn't any money of his own and asks Zhou Zishu to give him some of his money.
• When Ye Baiyi attempts to see Zhou Zishu's wounds against his wishes by removing his clothes, Zhou Zishu has this to say.
  Zhou Zishu: I experience what women feel getting harassed.
  • Later on, when Wen Kexing does the same thing.
    Zhou Zishu: There are two men pulling at my clothes in the middle of the night.
• Chengling attempts to kill a chicken. It ends with the chicken still alive while Chengling runs away screaming for help.
