Despite being a story about an elderly couple succumbing to radiation poisoning, the comic does have some funny moments.
- Hilda's reaction when Jim says they should "stimulate group activities" is pretty amusing. He's talking about things like discussions and word games, but she thinks he's pressuring her for sex and snippily tells him she's "not in the mood."
