  • Connor- "Nice socks." Also sort of doubles as a Catchphrase when mockingly dealing with authority.
  • Connor decides that the Admiral is profiting off the Graveyard by selling Unwinds into slavery, and keeping the parts he likes for himself. He gets worked up and shouts all this at him, bringing up the Admiral's perfect pair of teeth, which match those of a young boy in a photograph. The Admiral throws his dentures at Connor.
  • In the second book, a safe house for former tithes decides to put on a dance. Everyone just stands around awkwardly and doesn't dance, so the frustrated adult DJing decides that it's going to be mandatory for everyone to do the Hokey Pokey. About ten seconds into the song, he realizes that it's probably a bad idea to sing about individual body parts to a bunch of ex-tithes, and tries to jump to the "put your whole self in" line right away. The teens, however, find this hilarious and it actually serves as the ice-breaker for the party.
  • Connor remembering his conversations with his tattoo while high in the third book.
  • At a party, a teenage girl trying to get into Cam's pants gets caught making out with him by her father, a mid-ranked general, yells at Roberta about him trying to have his way with the man's daughter.
  • Connor and Cam's Passive-Aggressive Kombat over Risa in UnSouled. Poor girl.
  • In the short story collection Unbound, stories set after Undivided reveal that Connor and Risa are cruising around the Mediterranean in secret after Unwinding supporters attempt to assassinate them on live TV. Divan sees the broadcast, and rather than putting the pieces together that Argent betrayed him, he simply thinks that Connor is an impostor. And then after his plane crashes, he decides to retire and buy a yacht with which to sail the Mediterranean.
