• The Announcer Chatter is a rich source of comedy, especially the Deadpan Snarker voice on the hospital PA system.
  Announcer: We are sorry for the litter you dropped on our floor.
  Announcer: To the owner of the blueish car. Your car is being taken for cubing. That's a blueish car for cubing. Thank you.
  Announcer: Some patients should be ashamed of their condition. You know who you are.
  Announcer: Please leave the bathrooms as you would wish to find them. Not as you would expect to find them.
  • The point about litter is even funnier when you realize it triggers on there being a certain amount of litter in the hospital, including debris dislodged during seismic events. That's right, the hospital is blaming the patients for the cleanup required after an earthquake.
• The jingles and commercials on "Two-Point Radio" are also a hilarious and very on-the-nose parody of British commercial radio networks like Heart FM or Absolute Radio.
  • "Come to Grockle Bay Zoo! Almost no visitor fatalities for two-and-a-half weeks!"
• VIP inspectors going through your trash, elbow-deep in waste. Inspecting is some Serious Business.
• The reactions of janitors when responding to a piece of hospital equipment catching fire is priceless; while the staff and patients run around screaming or stand frozen in terror, the janitor usually enters the room, pauses briefly to take in the scene, facepalms in exasperation, then calmly grabs the nearest fire extinguisher to deal with the problem.
