The Simpsons shorts:
- In "Watching Television", every time while watching TV, Bart and Lisa fight like cats and dogs, until Maggie changes the channel and they tell her to tune it back!
- In "Jumping Bart", Bart keeps missing Homer's arms. When he lands, different cartoony things happen to him from his eyeballs bouncing out of their sockets to his whole body compressing like a spring.
- "Burping Contest":
- Bart has to hold in a burp when Marge checks in on him, Lisa and Maggie to the point where bubbles fly out of his ears. When she finally leaves, Bart lets out a monstrous burp that causes him to faint. Lisa and Maggie then applaud.
- In the next act, Marge begins to scold the kids by saying "Burp! I mean Bart!"
- In "Football", Bart running into and dodging numerous obstacles to catch a football thrown by Homer. This cumulates in him jumping over a cliff and off another one before the football lands in his mouth.
- Bart spending most of "Space Patrol" with a vase stuck on his head.
- The ending to "The Art Museum". Bart says he's thinking of becoming a collector, and he holds up a nude painting he stole from the museum. Homer looks back and screams.
- "The Bart Simpson Show": Bart takes apart the family's television set and creates his own show to amuse Lisa and Maggie. Homer doesn't catch on until he realizes the remote doesn't work, then he strangles Bart.Bart: (as TV host) Funny thing happened on the way to the studio tonight. I ran over my dad's head on my bike.Homer: I thought I told you kids not to watch violent TV!Bart: Oh yeah?!
- "Bart the Hero": Bart unwittingly foils a robbery and is offered a $10,000 cash reward. He opts to have it paid to him in candy bars instead, much to Homer's horror.
- In "Scary Movie", Bart ropes his sisters into seeing Revenge of the Space Mutants. He throws his popcorn in the air and screams after seeing his likeness as an alien. Lisa and Maggie each hold one of his hands.
- "Shoplifting":
- Bart thinks he'll get away with shoplifting by eating the candy bars he just stole. All it does is leave a chocolate stain on his mouth.Bart: I know my rights! You can't hold me if you ain't got no evidence, copper! (sees himself in the mirror) ...Uh, is it too late to make a full confession?
- A fine Spoof Aesop courtesy of Bart:Marge: What have you learned from this experience, Bart?Bart: Well, Mom, I might have been caught and had a few bad moments there, but I gotta admit, chocolate was delish.Marge: No, no, no, Bart! The lesson is, ultimately, crime hurts the criminal!Bart: That's not true, Mom. I got a free ride home, didn't I?(He's kicked out of the car.)
- Bart thinks he'll get away with shoplifting by eating the candy bars he just stole. All it does is leave a chocolate stain on his mouth.
- "Echo Canyon": Lisa tests out the canyon by shouting out "BORING!"
- In "Bathtime", Bart hides from Homer in his closet. He gives himself away with a burp caused by the soda he was drinking earlier.
- In "Grandpa and the Kids," Bart urges Grandpa to tell a scary story. He duly scares Bart by faking a heart attack in midsentence.Lisa: You killed Grandpa!Bart: No way, man! Society killed Grandpa!
- Bart narrating a Previously on… recap for the conclusion of the three-part "Maggie in Peril" short, in which Maggie escapes from the yard while Homer and Marge are at the store. He has no idea what happened after Homer told him and Lisa to keep an eye on her because he wasn't paying attention.Bart: (over footage of Maggie skateboarding into a sewer pipe and falling down a waterfall) The sun was shinin', the birds were tweetin', real relaxin', nothin' goin' on, totally mellow, man. Just sittin' there readin' comic books. The best of all possible worlds. Everything was groovy and peaceful, man. And now, on with our story.
- The entirety of "Zoo Story" is this with the family viewing a family of monkeys (whom all look exactly like them) and Homer teasing the apes with a bag of peanuts until receiving a wad of monkey faeces to the face. The major highlight however has to be when Homer is driving home, angrily ranting about the monkeys until he hears some hooting and looks behind, screaming as he finds the boy monkey from the zoo in place of Bart, even wearing his clothes. Homer makes as he screams is absolutely hilarious.note The short then ends with Bart back at the zoo now with the monkey family, naked as they feed him bananas.
