Langdon and Sato discover markings on the bottom of the stand the kidnapper left. As they rattle through every symbol, language, and code they know, Nuñez tells them it's upside down and it's the number of a subbasement at the Capitol.
Langdon and Katherine sneak into her father's study for a makeout session only to find that Peter is already there.
