  • "Winging It" has a moment where Todd admits that he doesn't know his left from his right. But he then happily notes that he doesn't get up and down confused, anymore.
    • The same episode features a Running Gag where each of the Fox Busters (aside from Jeffries) gets knocked out of the sky by the flying Tod, landing in the duck pond. The first victim is Ransome:
      Ransome: {To a confused Sims} Don't. Ask.
    • Then, later, when Sims gets knocked out of the sky by a boulder King Voracious had fired, which had been meant for Tod:
      Ransome: Sims! What happened to you?
      Sims: You know that thing that you don't want to talk about?
      {Ransome nods in understanding}
      Sims: Well... I don't want to talk about it, either! {faints}
  • "Where Ego's Dare" features the Foxbusters playing upon Attila, Evita, and Todd's desire to prove themselves the best of the foxes in various "contests". The final one is to figure out who's the "most treacherous". Todd wins this by faking a hunter's approach, complete with mimicking the barking of hunting dogs, which gives the Foxbusters the opportunity to escape. As Todd points out, this made him quite "treacherous"...but doesn't save him from Attila and Evita's wrath.
    • When Ransome announces the "contest"
    Ransome: We wanna find the biggest backstabber in the pack.
    Attila and Evita suddenly draw out a crapload of knives and bear slasher smiles.
    Ransome: That was just a figure of speech.
    • Todd's proof that he's the "wiliest" fox
    Todd: I win! I win! I'm the wiliest!
    Attila: Why?
    Todd: {barely able to contain himself} Because, while you two've been arguing... {he chuckles, and then looks at and wiggles his fingers} ...I've picked your pockets!
    Attila: {flatly} We're foxes, Todd! We don't 'ave pockets.
    Todd squeals in disgust.
  • Another gem, courtesy of Todd, in "The Not So Great Escape"
    Todd: {reading a food label} "Just add hot water." Now, how are foxes supposed to do that? I can only heat water by passing it through me, first.
    • The episode makes Todd into a total Butt-Monkey, as it seems that the universe really does conspire to keep him from fleeing the the farm, after getting stuck there. Among the mishaps, he nearly gets impaled as part of a training exercise, gets conked on the head while digging a tunnel out by Jeffries planting her umbrella, and has his last resort, Crazy Enough to Work method of escaping by hijacking a mower cut short by a ray of light reflecting off a satellite and melting its tires.
  • Also, in "The Not So Great Escape", the Foxbusters are allowed to have a one-hour day off but have some hard time figuring out what they could do in a mere hour. Jeffries decided to use her imagination to take Ransome and Sims into "Jeffries' One Hour World Tour"
    Jeffries: And now, if you look to your right, you will see Holland.
    Sims: Bah! That's just a windmill.
    Jeffries: And on your left - The Niagara Falls.
    Sims: Bah! That's just the water... (gets sprayed by the water coming out of the water tower) tower.
    • Closely followed by this;
    Jeffries: And that was the darkest Africa, closely followed by The Taj Mahal. (They pass a makeshift Taj Mahal made off hay bales and flower pots)
    • And this;
    Ransome: And what's that supposed to be? (They pass a hay bale shaped like the Sydney Opera House)
    Jeffries Stonehenge. But it went a bit wrong.
    • Later the Foxbusters are spending the evening at a pond, as if they were at a beach, complete with sunchairs and sunglasses. Then, Jeffries arrives, wearing a sun hat and carrying an umbrella, a swimming ring and a sunbucket with a shovel, which leads to this exchange;
    Jeffries:: Aah, I see you've found the Spanish Riviera. Come on girls. Tops off!
    Sims: We're chickens, Jeffries. Our tops are always off.
    Ransome: And our bottoms.
    Jeffries: (embarrassed) Yikes! (walks off-screen to wear bikini)
  • Voracious gives a briefing on the Foxbusters in front of a lighted sheet simulating a slideshow. (Todd even provides the clicks and whirs.)
    • Upon hearing the field mice's calls for help:
    Jeffries: Activate telescopic visiooooooooon! {Her eyes bulge out, and then retract. She turns to the audience.} One day, that's gonna do something!
  • Ransome leaves behind obvious decoys of themselves while they're out in "Hen Night". Todd, being Todd, is convinced they're staring him down. Attila chides him for falling for such a simple trick, and is scared witless when one of the decoys drops. Evita comes and chews them both out, but is standing right beneath another decoy as it falls, landing squarely onto her.
  • After suffering through an episode of Genghis maiming everything in sight, he eventually crosses paths with the Foxbusters. Sims, annoyed by his crying and biting, gives him a verbal lashing. You'd expect this to be a Kick the Dog moment, until Genghis actually and happily declares Sims to be his mother for doing so.
    • After returning Genghis to his parents, following Sims bonding with the little guy
    Ransome: Never mind, Sims. One day, you'll have chicks of your own.
    Ransome: {miffed} That was the right thing to say, wasn't it?!
  • Jeffries' plan for escaping the underground tunnel they've been trapped in during the events of "Going Underground"? Carving a message to leave for "highly-evolved chicken archeologists" to find and then rescue them. Amusingly enough, the episode ends with a highly-evolved chicken archeologist (who resembles Jeffries, natch) coming in to rescue them, only to find out they've already gone.
  • When David the Deer moves into their farm to be save from the foxes in "Passing The Buck", it forces the Foxbusters to make some arrangements, by moving residents of the farm into new places. The foxes are dumbfounded.
    Attila: (confused) What are those chickens doing? There's a sheep in the doghouse...
    Todd: (afraid) ...and a giant ball of fire in the sky!
    Attila: Todd, that is the sun.
    Todd: Oh.
  • In "Some Like It Otter", the Foxbusters are planning to have a girls night, intending to watch a video. There's just a video cassette lying down on the floor with no video recorder around and they're just watching at it, as if it will do something by itself.
    Jeffries: Okay, chums. Everything's ready for our girls night in. Let's eat pizza, wear pajamas and watch a video.`
    (the camera points at the video cassette lying down on the floor)
    Ransome:: It doesn't seem to do much, does it?
  • In "Three Hens And a Baby", Voracious is enjoying his time alone after giving Genghis away to be babysat by the other foxes, stating this.
    Voracious:: Aaah! This is the life! No wife, no baby. If only we had cable.
    • Later when Genghis wanders off into the farm, Jeffries tries to cheer up the crying fox cub and proceeds to, by some weird way, to blow air into ther combs, making them become balls. She then takes them off her head and throws them around in the air like a juggler, complete with the Can Can music. To this, Ransome replies;
    Ransome: Jeffries, please stop doing that. You are scaring me! That is so ugly.
  • After Ransome saves the lamb, the sheep start to obey her. Sims tells her to get rid off the sheep but Ransome argues that the sheep could prove useful when dealing with the foxes. Sims, however, isn't too much impressed.
    Sims: There'll be no salad squad, okay?
    Voracious: I do believe I feel a little... sheepish. Baahaha!
    • Later, when Voracious executes his plan, Ransome compliments him, leading to this exchange.
    Ransome: Woah! For a sheep that was some fantastic foxbusting, Mrs... aah, Mister...
    Voracious: Voracious... I mean, Baahaharacious.
  • In "One Paw In The Grave", there's this exchange;
    Volpone: Hey, where are you all going?
    Voracious: How does it look like, old man? We're off to return our library books.
    Voracious Todd! Come back here. I was being sarcastic.
