- October 19, 1988: A contestant from the same team talking about Pat Boone blurted out that he wears a coonskin cap before realizing that Daniel Boone does that. Wayne asks if anyone has the mental image of Pat Boone wearing a coonskin cap.
- On the British version, host Andrew O'Connor had a Bert Convy flub when he, during the bonus round on a Double-Double, instructed the contestant to talk about "Undertakers" — which was actually the keyword that the other contestant had picked!
