  • Zod's Facial Dialogue when putting up with Non's idiocy and Ursa's bouts of senseless violence. His eye-rolls clearly state "I need a better class of henchmen."
  • Zod and his crew assume that "Houston" is the name of the planet Earth, because that's what the astronauts use.
  • The fisherman in the background seeing Zod, Ursa, and Non land nearby. Whatever drink was in his mug, he immediately decides he's not having any more.
    • Ursa gets bitten by a snake she held onto, then she throws it to the ground and unintentionally uses her heat vision to torch the snake.
      • Then Non tries to use his own heat vision on the burnt snake, but due to his low intelligence, it hasn't fully developed yet.
  • After kneeling in front of Zod, the president lets out an exasperated "Oh, God!" Zod corrects him, "Zod."
  • After taking over the White House, Zod, Ursa, and Non are seen sitting around doing nothing.
  • Lois trying to punch Ursa, only to end up hurting herself instead.
    • In a deleted part of this same scene, Non crushes Jimmy's camera, and Jimmy tries to bite Non's hand away.
  • Ursa, upon meeting Lois and learning that she's Superman's girlfriend:
"What an undemanding male this Superman this be!"
    • True to form, Lois fires right back:
"Yeah, you could use a tuck here and there yourself, sister!"
  • When a re-powered Superman arrives to challenge Zod, just before the Kryptonian villains can carry through in killing Luthor along with everyone else:
Luthor: Superman, thank God... I mean, GET HIM!
  • "Why do you say this to me, when you know I will kill you for it?"
    • This is one of the few things that's better in the theatrical version. The Richard Donner Cut has Zod sound like he's asking rhetorically out of irritation, while Terence Stamp's delivery in the Richard Lester cut makes Zod sound genuinely perplexed that Luthor would dare mouth off to him, and he's expecting a serious answer.
  • Lois' Bond One-Liner before punching Ursa into the pits of the Fortress of Solitude:
  • After defeating Zod, Luthor correctly deduces that Superman inverted the depowering chamber's effect, so that it affected everyone outside the chamber. Cue the sardonically-friendly little salute from Superman that says "Yup, you're a genius, alright."
  • The diner scene at the end of the movie.
Clark: "This order's to go." *sends Rocky sliding across the table into a pinball machine*
  • In the Richard Donner Cut, Otis and Eve had a tendency to repeat anything Luthor said. When Lex tells her to stop at one point, Eve replies: "I won't repeat what you say."
