  • General
    • 0-0-0. and BT-1 are the Evil Counterparts to C-3PO and R2-D2. The end result is their Like an Old Married Couple routine only with more villainous dialogue. The kicker is whenever the Protocol Droid has to talk down his partner from indulging in his compulsive desire to kill things.
  • Issue #2
    • Aphra's father says that their trip to a Yavin IV temple will be easy, causing Black Krrsantan to growl at him for Tempting Fate. Sure enough, the temple (the former Rebel base) is now crawling with Imperials.
  • Issue #3
    • Aphra remarks that sending Black Krrsantan off to fight a bunch of stormtroopers alone is unfair. It is, to the stormtroopers.
  • Issue #6
    • Aphra & Co. defeat the Imperials who pursued them but she spares the life of their leader, Tolvan, simply because she's cute. Aphra's father's response is simply "You have terrible taste in women."
  • Issue #9
  • Issue #13
    • Sutha threatens Aphra with what will happen to her when Jabba learns what occurred at the auction. Aphra begins to note that means she should kill Sutha to prevent him from finding out, but the Hutt is suddenly shot in the head before she can finish her sentence.
Aphra: Wow. Lucky deflection. Well... I mean, lucky for me. Moral dilemma averted!
    • When Darth Vader attacks Aphra's auction of evil, he senses her.
Vader: I sense a presence I have not felt in some time.
(Smash Cut to a panel of Aphra screaming as she pilots her ship past several explosions.)
      Vader: An infuriating presence.
  • Issue #16
    • Tolvan might be a hardass Imperial officer, but she acts like a Smitten Teenage Girl whenever she sees Aphra. When she examines new surveillance footage of Aphra...
      Tolvan: She has new bracelets
      Confused Imperial Officer: Ma'am?
      Tolvan: Nothing.
    • When Tolvan leads a squad of stormtroopers confront Aphra's squad, she just stares at Aphra awkwardly until.
Stormtrooper: Uhm. *cough*. Open fire, ma'am?
      Tolvan: Yes. Yes, absolutely.
  • Issue #17
    • Sister Six pointing out that she's the Only Sane Man among this Ragtag Bunch of Misfits—and she's right!
    • Capturing Hera Syndulla and handcuffing her was one thing. But was the pink bow on her head really necessary? Aphra later admits she basically only did it because It Amused Me.
    • The Empire actually has Hutt clone stormtroopers!
  • Issue #21
    • The robot who Rhymes on a Dime describes Aphra's desire to "Escape black cape, face sour grape."
    • When Tolvan comes to break Aphra out of jail (granted, one Tolvan put her in herself) with a short window before her TIE gets picked up by scanners, Aphra gets distracted by some tech on the way out. This causes Tolvan to realize:
Tolvan: I'm in love with an evil idiot.
  • Issue #26
    • While fleeing the police with Aphra, Triple-Zero decides to kill the driver of an occupied speeder rather than steal an empty one. Why? Because the occupied speeder had a red stripe.
  • Issue #27
    • Aphra trying to come up with a way out their situation gives us this gem of an exchange:
      Aphra: I have a plan.
      Triple-Zero: I hate it.
Aphra: You haven't even heard it yet.
  • Issue #29
  • Issue #31
    • To stop Triple-Zero from committing suicide, Aphra quickly beings the inert Beetee back online. Trip is understandably suspicious as to whether his companion is under Aphra's control, so how does Beetee prove he isn't? He shoots a knife into Aphra's leg.
  • Star Wars: Empire Ascendant #1: Epilogue
    • Luke tells Tolvan, Vulaada, and Korin that Aphra's meddling may have bought the Rebels enough time to finalize the Echo Base shield generator and refine their evacuation plans (both things that will save lives during the upcoming Battle of Hoth), proving that there was good in her all along. After he walks away
Tolvan: Should we tell him she also saved the Emperor's life?
Korin: Better not. Nothing crueler than reality to a dreamer.

  • Issue #11
    • Aphra says that cymotes, a parasite that lays its eggs in a host who then hatch and eat their way out, were frequently seen as artwork on ancient dinnerware.
  • Issue #12
  • Issue #14
    • Just Lucky and Ariole Yu meet Sana.
Lucky: Let me guess, Sana. You're either an ex, or she owes you money.
      Ariole: Both?
      Sana: Both.
    • Aphra starts beating up Lucky to distract the guards. Sana, with a completely neutral expression, says "Oh no. She's killing him. Please. Won't somebody help."
    • The giant security droid's very polite objections as Aphra jumps onto its back and rips wires out of its head.
    • Crae asks Lucky if he's willing to let Aphra Shoot the Hostage.
Lucky: Crae, no one "lets" Aphra do anything. It's like trying to stop a hurricane.
    • The gang's "kid in a candy shop" smiles and "HELL YEAH!" when they find a Crimson Dawn armory.
  • Issue #16
    • Despite being anxious about the meeting, Domina Tagge surprises Aphra by instead complimenting them on a job well done. Aphra's so taken aback by the praise she blushes and turns giddy.
Domina: Good job. You did very well.
Aphra: No one's ever told me I did a good job.
Sana: Don't be weird about it.
  • Issue #18
    • Aphra says Kho dresses like "a Sith dipped in glitter."
    • Sana and Aphra discuss one of Kho's ritual murders.
Aphra: I thought the severed tongues nailed to the wall were... tastefu-
      Sana: NO.
