• In the animated miniseries, after Rallen explains what happened in his first fight to Jeena, she silently uses her scanner on his head to see if there's anything wrong with him.
  • Immediately upon realizing this, Rallen's expressions becomes blankly deadpan.
• At the start of the first game, Rallen mentions how they haven’t been on a mission for a long time, followed by Jeena reminding him it’s because he keeps getting into monkey business, to which Rallen mildly protests to. This is followed by Commander Grant ending their debrief with “And Rallen? No monkey business,” before hanging up.
• Early in the second game, Rallen is trying to convince a guard to let him through a secured gate in order to fight the krawl on the other side.
  Guard: Wow, you must be a force to be reckoned with...
  Rallen: Huh? Oh, well that's probably an overstatement, but I have my moments...
  Guard: Well in that case, I can't let you through.
  Rallen: No, wait! I was just kidding, heh heh... I AM a force to be reckoned with!
• Rallen's Oh, Crap! moment upon learning his Prizmod won't work upon his and Jeena's arrival to Wyterra in Origins, and the conversation that follows.
  Rallen: Huh? Wait a minute... Something's... What's wrong with this thing?
  Jeena: Any time now, Rallen!
  Rallen: I don't understand it. My Prizmod... it's not responding. I can't summon any Spectrobes...
  Jeena: Yeah, yeah, very funny. Look, don't mess with me, Rallen. Just do your thing and let's move.
  Rallen: Jeena, I swear: I'm not fooling around. It's not working!
  Jeena: What!? Did you break it or something?
  Rallen: No, I— I don't know!
  • Then Komainu runs off mid-conversation.
  Jeena: Oh, no! Rallen... look! Komainu!
  Rallen: Bad Komainu. Bad boy! Come back here, you hear me?
