to join his empire is quite funny. It includes a goofy art style and music, saying that you won't have to worry about the pollution if you're robotized (which also includes the "perks" of never having to eat, sleep, or think ever again), a mention of how Love is Mandatory in his empire, and even a mention (as Infinite is appearing on screen in the same goofy art-style as the rest of the ad) that, in his empire, the possibilities are... Infinite.
Main Game
- If left idle while skydiving, Sonic (and the Avatar) will roll to the camera, cross his arms, and stare in boredom.
- When Sonic meets Infinite in the Mystic Jungle, Infinite tries to intimidate him by saying he can smell Sonic's fear.Sonic: (sniffs his own armpit) That's not fear. I ran all the way over here.

Sonic: (jumps back, horrified) AMY?! - When Sonic is in the Mystic Jungle, a colossal snake swallows him whole. The funniest thing is that Sonic doesn't seem remotely fazed by it beyond brief annoyance at being slowed down.Sonic: You're SO gonna regret that. Hedgehogs don't make good snacks.
- After Infinite leaves from talking with Eggman, Classic Sonic hops out from his hiding spot and gets a single attack on the Egg Mobile before Eggman hightails it into the boss fight proper.

Sonic: Why not "Here dozes the masked clown"? Might as well make it for the person who needs one, right? - At the end of the game, the Avatar manages to communicate to Knuckles that they're leaving for new adventures. Somehow.

- There’s a moment in the prequel comic Rise Of Infinite where Cubot suggests names for the Phantom Ruby.Cubot: Precious Stone!
Orbot: Wrong game. - You can get a Sanic shirt. Its description even reads that it was made on the snowy peaks of Mt. Fuji.
- The music that plays when you fail an SOS Mission serves as a throwback to Sonic Unleashed, except instead of Stylistic Suck, it instead plays up an arrangement of "This is Our World", then quickly loses air. It's at least funny the first few times you hear it.
- Meta Example: Searching up "edgiest song ever" on YouTube. The first result that immediately pops up? Infinite's theme!
