Larry: How did they finally get to you?
Sam: They gave me a grasshopper.
    Larry: What's a grasshopper?
Sam: Lessee, two parts gin, one part brandy, one part crème de menthe...
  • After the coffee-cup ambush, Gregor asks Sam what color the boat house at Hereford actually is.
Sam: How the fuck should I know?
  • One of the protagonists passes by another former spy in the pay of the antagonists during an operation.
Sergi: Where do I know you from?
    Vincent: Vienna.
    Sergi: Of course!
They immediately try and kill one another.
  • Blink and you'll miss it, but Gregor deciding to put on his seatbelt about 2/3 of the way through the famous BMW vs Peugeot chase. A silent and completely hilarious Delayed "Oh, Crap!".
  • It may be blind luck, but during one shot of the last car chase — in which both the heroes and villains create chaos by driving like maniacs — you can see a neon sign reading “AUTO ÉCOLE” — French for “Driving School.”
  • This exchange:
Sam: So, how'd you get started in this business?
Deirdre: [smiles] A wealthy scoundrel seduced and betrayed me.
Sam: Same with me. How about that?
  • Another pithy exchange:
    Spence: You ever kill anybody?
Sam: I hurt somebody's feelings once.
  • When Gregor discovers he's been betrayed by his contact for the Russians, the guy pulls a gun out of Hammerspace. Gregor's reaction is an annoyed "I should have made you strip."
