Funny / Redo of Healer

In General:

• As horrific as it is, most of the characters are so unbelievably depraved and evil that they go beyond being just a bunch of vile Hate Sinks to become hilarious instead. When every other personnel in a kingdom is a vicious Sadist of a sex maniac or war-mongerer who goes out of their way to act like they're in an Atrocity Montage parody, it's very difficult to take seriously. What doesn't help is unlike most revenge fantasies where the Villain Protagonists or Nominal Heroes explicitly go after targets that are way worse than them, our protagonist Keyaru plays on exactly the same level as whoever he's going against. There's something hilariously morbid when our "Healer Hero" manages to cause as much harm as King Proum and Bullet, who are already so awful that they're at the absolute end of the barrel and are generally devoid of comedic/humiliating moments.
• The extremely unsubtle Slasher Smiles people like Princess Flare or Norn routinely carry on their faces when they go out of their way to sexually and physically abuse Keyaru or commit war crimes. Keyaru also more often than not makes the same sort of expression when he's doing similar or worse things to his enemies. It stops being terrifying and reaches the territory of being comical.

Anime only:

• When Keyaru makes it absolutely clear to Flare that he intends to violate her, he turns up the psychological warfare a notch by momentarily hardening his own member with heal magic, all for the express purpose of dickslapping her across the face with it.
• The conversation between Eve and Keyaru in episode 9 when he claims that "delicious food is the second-best pleasure on a trip."
  Eve: And what's the first?
  Keyaru: (in English) Sex.
  • The TV broadcast version changes this to "relations between a man and a woman." Some fansubs, possibly as a result of transferring the TV sub directly to the uncensored sub, still have this translation for the one-word response.
• Eva first waking up to Keyaru's "daily morning routine", looking all shocked, while still taking a peek. After yelling at Keyaru for seeing her as just a body and declaring she's an adult who can have sex at any time, Keyaru stops his orgy and stands tall (pun intended) in front of Eva to call her bluff. The ending image of Eva staring at Keyaru's waving erection ends up as a reaction image online. Made doubly funnier with the following subtitle:

• Everything about Keyaru turning in a girl to bait Blade:
  • He first asks Freya to apply make up on him. Everyone thinks he's now a Creepy Cross Dresser.
    • Freya being worried she's not going to be able to satisfy him if he fully turns into a woman.
  • Keyaru finally uses Heal to become a woman... And Freya and Setsuna jump and hug him for the cuteness, while Eve decides that all of Keyaru's wickedness has disappeared.
  • Eventually Keyaru gets his make up and dresses as a woman... And Setsuna looks under his skirt. And Freya agrees that when he looks like that there's something that makes her want to attack him... And does just that. It apparently takes a while for them to stop.
  • After the two finally let him go, Keyaru goes to the bar where he plans to bait Blade, but there's someone following him. He gets worried that Norn has found him... Then he's quite annoyed it's a trio of perverts that he has to beat up.
  • Keyaru psyching himself up for the job by mentally declaring he's "The single, lovely flower blooming the night... Keara". With his mental voice changing to the female one.
  • Due to underestimating his target, Keara gets actually captured by Blade, who ties "her" to a bed and strips her... And then is horrified when she finds and touches a penis, to the point of puking. And does it again, while complaining her eyes got defiled, when "Keara" gets free and shows her the dick.
    • The fact Keyaru made sure to keep his genitals. Apparently, Freya's words about not being sure she can satisfy him if he fully turns into a woman scared him. That, or he wanted to see how Blade would react at touching a dick.
