• Dante cast the Servitude Spell on Paranorm... while he was facing the wrong way.
• Voodoo accidentally pinning Paranorm while trying to get Kindle.
• "My precious force field... RUINED!"
• Voodoo and Paranorm shocked that Cerise doesn't need daytime to use Solarbeam... because of the power of glowsticks!
• Callum gets tired from watching a fight.
• Tyson uncomfortable with the idea of children so early, and Sassy replying that it's never too early.
• Fluffles mentioning that the last time she saw Zap, he was trying to stop their son Watt from swinging on a lampshade.
• "You're FIRED! Now get OFF me!"
• Bolt trying to be tough for everyone, even when he sees the overwhelmingly high Waterfall Rock, dismissing it as Waterfall PEBBLE. Bayou and Fluffles see right through his act. Fluffles later taunts him when she and Bayou beat him to the top!
• Dracula and Droplet taunting those who can't fly being forced to climb up.
• Droplet: "I've got them! I've got them!" *catches eggs* "Hey! I got them!"
  • Her Oh, Crap! face when she sees a boulder hurled her way.
  • "Why... WHY did I catch them?!"
• Frostbite and Arkose tumbling down the waterfall.
• Bolt complaining about having to dive down from Waterfall Rock. And once again, he is teased.
• Pyro misheard "meet" as "eat," and eyes Callum's new Pokémon—Mulch and Hydro—and Charlotte's Tepig, Sausage. Aqua immediately chastises him.
• Hydro being terrified to meet Bulb, Aqua, and Pyro.
• Gash and Frostbite refusing to answer the Communication Crystal because Musk is holding it. Ned calls them wusses for it and answers it himself.
• "You may be as tough as yours truly." That line, courtesy of Pyro.
• Hydro actually falling for Ned's trap.
• Ned smashing his knife on Hydro's scalchop, Bulb kicking him into his own trap, and when he climbs out, his pants catch onto a root and rip off.
• Musk panicking when Gash, Frostbite, and Ned run off without him. He hastily tries to catch up.
• Callum's complete obliviousness to the battle that had ensued, thinking that they were just playing with berries (the Pokémon had actually made Berry Balm for their wounds). He even believes that Aqua's and Bulb's scratches were attributed to Hydro being clumsy with his Scalchop.
• Mulch's awkward love confession to Bulb. The look on Pyro's face was priceless, considering that she was able to attract somebody at her age and yet he couldn't!
• Dynamique's offscreen BURPING CONTEST.
• Lumine being a fire provider for a grill. The next day, it turns out that it gives barbecued food a ghostly taste.
• An overzealous Sleepy tries to take a burger straight off the grill. He ends up touching Kindle's super hot curry burger and burning his hand.
• Dynamique teasing Plumage about tracking a "pickle-shaped cloud." Plumage's response is to say that her news this time is important, and that she hadn't located the pickle cloud yet.
• Sleepy crying to the burgers as he's being dragged off to help with a fire: "I'll be back for you! I love you!" Later, he's still focused on the food, with Dynamique dryly asking him if all he ever thinks about is his stomach.
• Kindle's general awkwardness around the pretty Mienshao he had just met, Feng-Shui.
• Doug was supposed to help Sleepy evacuate the Bidoofs and Bibarels... but he was too focused on saving shiny objects.
• Voodoo, Paranorm, and Musk fighting over who gets to answer the communication crystal until Vladimir shows up.
• "Purple fireworks would go with your eyes!"
• Kindle's letter is apparently a nice change from Pyro's "PokeNuts" magazines...
• According to Dynamique, Plumage needs to learn the meaning of the word "cute".... really badly.
• When Kindle is trying to sneak away from the concert to see Feng, Plumage just pops out of nowhere and startles him. Then she begins to prod him about where he's going and the letter in his paw, up until Dynamique shows up and questions him on it as well. Kindle is forced to confess his motives.
• Dynamique interrupting Kindle and Feng's romantic moment.
• Doug's shattered light bulb and Psyche's shattered circlet, courtesy of Dynamique and Scratch's loud music.
• Sleepy having enjoyed the food Lumine prepared for the concert...
• Ned's reaction to the Soul Controller being destroyed.
• Feng kicking Ned in the crotch.
• Ned being demoted to MUSK'S ASSISTANT.
• Kindle's Post-Kiss Catatonia. He just stands there with a goofy smile while drooling, blushing, and steaming. Then when Dynamique taps him... *faint*
• Plumage asking Psyches why he doesn't send love letters to her... to which he responds, "We live in the same house, letters to each other would therefore be redundant!"
• Bill, Pingu, and Sago singing "A Life on the Ocean Wave" while on a little yellow boat.
• Splash's Flat "What" upon hearing about hearing of Callum, Kindle, and Kerny's fishing expedition. Sassy reassures him that it's just catch and release.
• Callum casting a fishing rod. And then, after a while of waiting, he ends up catching a WAILORD! The Wailord, Moby, throws him across the harbor, and Callum lands in the part of the bay where his sister, Charlotte, happens to be hanging out.
• Vladimir FAKE-promising to raise Musk's wage...
• Frostbite musing about throwing Ned to Jaws the Sharpedo.
• Sassy's reaction to the polluted water—by jumping onto Tyson and accidentally choking him.
• A human character and his son on the news telling a reporter that the water tasted like cat food... the reporter's expression was priceless. And then the son holds up a sign that says "HAI MOM!"
• Ned discussing taking Moby's corpse for himself and selling it, promising half of the profits for Gash and Frostbite if they help him and not tell Vladimir. Then they demand ninety percent of the profits, and tell Ned that they'll tell Vlad anyway.
• Aqua and Bayou's children, Cascade and Slough, giving their parents "Anime Eyes" so they could go with Charlotte and play with her Pokémon some more.
• "No bar is a match for MY mighty molars!"
• Kindle taunting Ned about Feng-Shui having kicked him in the crotch the last time they met. Everybody else, including Gash and Frostbite were laughing while Ned was steaming.
  • NO HARD FEELINGS...
• Everybody's reactions to Musk's smell.
• Gash, Frostbite, Ned, and Musk jump down from a ledge to battle Kindle, Scratch, Kerny, Tyson, and Sassy. Musk is the only one who doesn't land on his feet, instead landing flat on his face.
• Sassy's Cute Charm ability affecting Musk and Ned, making them fall head over heels in love with her!
  • Musk: *hit with a Drain Punch* "OWWIE! But... I love you! Why are you hurting me?!"
  • And then when he and Ned are dragging her and Tyson away to feed them to Jaws, he still apologizes to Sassy for it!
  • Sassy attempts to trick Musk into letting her and Tyson go, and since Ned and Musk are still affected by her Cute Charm, they bemoan not being able to help her in fear of Gash. Then Musk tells her that if she survives, he'll call her! Sassy's expression is hilarious...
    • Tyson: "He's not going to call, is he?"
• Cascade and Precious (Charlotte's Trubbish) playing tag in an air vent.
• An overzealous Ned stabs Moby on the head... and Moby is so big, it feels like nothing more than an itch. Unimpressed, he nails Ned with ANOTHER Groin Attack with his waterspout!
• Musk losing a stink contest with Precious.
• Vlad and his gang are flushed away into the Sinnoh Landfill Site, where the others begin blaming each other for their loss. What makes the scene even better is when they're overrun by Trubbish!
  • And Ned lost his pants again...
• Droplet hitting on Buggins, and Honey stopping her... because she has a crush on him too. Buggins is weary of being hit on and called a 'future husband.'
• Tyson appears in Buff Magazine.
• In the flashback of how Honey ran away from home and met Cerise, she jokes about how they can't shake hands, because they're a Combee and Cherubi respectively.
• Honey being overrun by subjects excited for her return. And then she jokes about Buggins' mother having not eaten her hat and scarf in the time she was gone.
• Tyson showing off to female bugs. Sassy teases him a little about "acting Pyro-like."
• Regent's Flat Scare of Droplet and her insane overreaction to it.
• The Royal Vizier's Absurdly Bright Dramatic Entrance, which leaves everybody Blinded by the Light.
• Droplet believing that Dustox overrunning the Bug Council is the apocalypse.
• "But mother... I don't want to go to knight school this morn... I want to stay home and make mutton with thou!"
• Calymene being ejected from the Council-Tree at high speed... and landing in a pool where Jaws the Sharpedo happens to be hanging out.
• Regent asking Droplet to a date... then Droplet freaking out because he is a Dustox.
• Paranorm wearing the UGLIEST Crobat costume in existence. It has to be seen to be believed!
  Reader: You know. It does somewhat resemble Vlad's ma' in a bathing suit...
• Hydro shows off his swords (with an unimpressed Mulch beside him), attacks Paranorm... and is punched into the wall. Cue the Space Jam reference.
• Bayou asks Paranorm to show her his fishing license. Paranorm tries to search for it in his Belly Mouth, and is smacked away by Bayou and Mulch in the process.
• Voodoo is knocked across the room by Dracula, and moans that he cannot feel his arms and legs. The next panel shows a wider shot, and his limbs are scattered.
  • Paranorm sews the limbs back on... and Voodoo ends up with an arm for a leg and a leg for an arm.
• Jian and Tinder's reaction to their parents kissing.
• Pyro having the hots for Kindle's MOTHER. The look on Pyro's face when Kindle dispels the awkwardness by addressing his mother is priceless.
• "The professor who found you was a TREE?!"
• A member of the Forty Thieves attempts to attack Flare, only to be stopped by Tide, Jian, and Tinder. After they interrogate him and find out that Balthasar and the other 38 thieves are about to attack the Exploration Team, the crook, Nazeem, brags that they can't do anything to him. Fifteen seconds later, he's been tossed into a teleport-proof cage.
• SHINIES!!! DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!

• Don't mess with Sleepy's chocolate drops.
• The Forty Thieves are losing, and Psyches and IQ have a machine that prevents them from teleporting. What do they do? They jump in the nearby river, and end up falling down a waterfall.
  • And then the sheepish raising of their arms as they are caught by the authorities.
• Pyro muttering about how he should lose weight.
• Pyro missing out on the chance to flirt with Charm the Arbok.
• During most of "Like Father, Like Son", Pyro had been trying to get Kindle's opinion on a belt he found. When Pyro finally gets to try it on in front of Kindle... it turns out to be too tight.
• "Everybody say 'Feebas'!"
• In "Mind Over Matter", Psyches travels to Relic Castle to assist with an emergency. Unbeknownst to him, Musk is following him. As Psyches enters the castle and the drawbridge closes, Musk attempts to jump in. The Skuntank fails miserably.
• Psyches' fellow apprentice, Spectrum the Beheeyem, having no idea what to do with a plug.
• Psyches' discomfort on the prospect of facing the Wiccan Witches. One of them, Desiree the Gardevoir, has a crush on him. When he sees them again, Desiree wraps him in a crushing hug. Geez, even he's luckier than Pyro!
  • And when she's informed that Psyches has a girlfriend (Plumage), Desiree suggests that the Xatu could use a backup girlfriend. Psyches remarks that she sounds like a certain Charizard.
• Vladimir demoting Musk, and making him fall through a trap door.
• Scan the pub on page ten of Mind Over Matter. There are plenty of Funny Background Events happening.
• The Wiccan Witches reveal that they have "special ingredients" for lunch—Honchcrow Egg, Seviper Tail, Eye of Kecleon.
  Spectrum: Erm, by "special", do you mean utterly icky and gross?!
  • And later, Psyches is shown to be enjoying a sandwich made from the ingredients!
• Although the moment Leviathan is freed is a very, very tense moment, the moment where Gash and Frostbite don't understand Psyche's lecture on why freeing Leviathan is a very bad idea can elicit a few giggles.
