Before the massacre of the Yakuza, Gotou outright asks one guarding the door how many were inside. Then, once the Yakuza warned him to leave, he happily stating how they were aggressive. The fact Gotou says it like a naive musclehead that ticks the guy off is funny enough, even if it is before the Mook Horror Show that follows.
In the finale, while inside Shinichi's dream, Migi looks at the mental perceptions he has of everyone he knows. Then he looks at himself, as the squatty little one-eyed, blade-armed self we've come to know over the series. Which begins walking around nonchalantly.
