• Most of Adashino's appearances lead to some rather lighthearted moments. Particularly when he's trying to persuade Ginko to sell him something.
• The minor Running Gag of Ginko giving a patient medicine and forgetting to warn them about how bitter it is until after the poor schmuck has gulped it down.
• The bickering between Youkichi and Mikage in "Lingering Crimson", with Ginko sitting awkwardly trying to enjoy his meal.
• In "Azure Waters", Ginko objecting to being addressed as "old man".
