Season 1

     General
  • Harry Wilson is a gold mine of comedy, especially since it's clear everybody dislikes him for being a REALLY evil lawyer. They seem to hold more of a grudge then they did against Eliot working for Moreau!

    The Too Many Rembrandts Job
  • Hardison has taken to calling the present "the darkest timeline".
  • Post-expansion, Parker's gotten restless, aching for a good trek through a "hot, strange" air vent she's never been in before.
Parker: (raises her beer in a toast) To strange vents!
  • Parker calls them "meat wagons". Eliot calls them "food trucks". Hardison calls them an army of Lucilles.
  • Parker's seeing a therapist now! Well, a child therapist. She likes the puppets.
  • Sophie spots the turned off cameras and deduces a job is going down and quickly realizes Harry, a complete amateur, is the one trying to pull it. Shortly she and the entire team are standing around casually commenting on the things he's doing. Complementing what he's doing right, rolling their eyes at what he's doing wrong. And, of course, Parker casually steals his wallet and watch. Then Eliot storms out of the hidden employee hallway and knocks the guy unconscious.
  • Hardison appears to have rubbed off on Eliot more than the latter would care to admit.
Hardison: Get the gang back together, Star Trek style!
Eliot: Even numbers only, baby. I can't believe I know that.
  • Hardison leaving Eliot to drag Harry's unconscious body by himself.
Eliot: Alright, you get the left side, I'll get the right.
    Hardison: You hit 'em.
    Eliot: Hardison—DAMN IT, HARDISON!
  • Parker's assurance to Sophie that she can handle being the grifter:
Parker: And I haven't stabbed anybody in a long time, like at least a month!
Sophie: Parker, a month's not a very long time.
Parker: It is when you're not the one doing the stabbing.
  • Eliot and Hardison, in order to clear out the auction, make up a very morbid scenario of water pressure intense enough to rip a baby's arm off.
  • After Hardison unveils his latest device, a giant printer that can make incredibly accurate forged paintings, Eliot turns it on and sees the start-up image on the tiny screen is Bob Ross with Hardison's face photoshopped on.
  • Hardison angrily vetoing Eliot labeling their backup plan as 'plan M'. There's a dark hilarity to the implication that, even after all these years, Hardison still dies in plan M. Meaning either nobody bothered to figure out a backup plan that doesn't kill him, or Nate's plans are just that good after all these years.
    • And when Harry reveals his new plan:
Hardison: Eliot, plan S. For 'Hardison survives', dammit.
  • Parker's fangirl moment when she realizes what the team's fallback plan for taking down The Mark is:
Harry: Wait a second, you're talking about breaking into eight of the world's most secure art galleries in the span of a single night. I'd say that's impossible, but—(sees Parker shaking) Is she okay?
(Hardison embraces her to try and calm her down)
    Parker: SO! MANY!! VENTS!!!

     The Panamanian Monkey Job
  • During the rundown of the vault's security system, Hardison says "Nothing's impossible." Parker immediately responds that it's impossible to tickle yourself. Hardison is utterly unfazed, says "good point" and keeps going. Five seconds later, Breanna points out it's impossible to dribble a football, which Hardison also agrees with.
  • In order to clear out an office of corrupt finance guys for their use, Eliot sets a garbage can in front of himself, lights a fire in it, and says, "The feds are on their way! They know everything!" in Spanish. Everyone in the office clears out in under a minute.
  • Eliot remarking that Harry fits right in with everyone else at Sentinel Offshore, and the worst-case scenario of him getting caught is some light torture, which prompts a Double Take from Harry.
  • After Harry realizes he's going to be riding in a vehicle with plastic explosives, Hardison "reassures" him.
Harry: That cellphone gets the wrong number, I'm gonna have a problem!
Hardison: Yeah, for like a tenth of a second. Then you ain't got no more problems ever again!
  • "This [drill] could tear right through your fingers, scatter them all over the room. Then you'd have to go and pick up your fingers without any fingers. Don't come crying to me when that happens."
  • Parker and Hardison's argument when they discover the vault also has an invisible laser grid.
Parker: I told you to practice your burglary skills!
Hardison: You-you're gonna compare me to Eliot right now?!
Parker: Eliot spent time in vent practice, and look how that paid off!
Eliot: Hey, don't drag me into this!

The Rollin' on the River Job
  • After failing Parker's pickpocketing exercise, Breanna realizes she can't feel her hand. Parker explains she coated the trinket in numbing cream. After a few seconds, Breanna announces she's lost feeling in her arms. And after a minute, Breanna abruptly falls over.
Breanna: The numbness is in my legs!
Parker: It'll wear off. (under her breath) Eventually.
  • Breanna tries to reassure Parker that she can handle the situation, as she's been keeping up with the manuals Hardison wrote for her. After a moment of silence, Breanna confesses she really only skimmed volumes one to three. Parker then replies, "There's fifteen."
  • Parker showing off the spreadsheet for human interaction she and Hardison cooked up together. Sophie tries to claim she can't just write up a cheat sheet for dealing with people, but eventually relents and admits it's pretty good.
  • Eliot's utter fury at learning Parker ate the last of the carrot cake his friend Dennis made.
  • At the end of the episode, Parker gives Breanna the giant pearl she tried to steal earlier in the episode as a souvenir... and Breanna's just confused as all hell because Parker didn't go anywhere near the thing for the entirety of the job and still somehow stole it.

     The Tower Job
  • Eliot and Parker know Klingon now. Why does Eliot know it?
Eliot: Hardison bet me I couldn't learn the language. He lost.
    Breanna: Did he?
  • Harry's attempt at the "Let's go steal an x" line.
Harry: Alright, let's go steal a luxury apartment complex financier!
Parker: It doesn't work if you say it like that!
Harry: What do you mean? You guys act like there's rules to this, but nobody ever explains what they are!
  • Breanna and Eliot "renovating" the building for the con.
  • Breanna's abstract art that (supposedly) captures Eliot beautifully. Eliot doesn't see it.
Sophie: You really captured his soul, his inner conflicts laid bare-
    Eliot: WHERE?!
  • Parker excitedly and repeatedly taking the fire escape tube to ground level at the end of the episode. Eliot and Breanna agree she's going down headfirst the next time around.

     The Card Game Job
  • Eliot spends the entire episode absolutely done with everything that happens in the episode, especially once he gets to the faire.
  • The team's habit of things blindsiding them hit an all-time low in this episode: after convincing the mark the creator of his favorite card game, who hasn't been seen in over a decade, wants to sell the company to him, the team plans to pass Harry off as the creator... only for the actual creator of the game to show up right as Harry and Eliot were walking in.
  • The jousting tournament. The sight of Eliot in black armor wearing a dragon inner tube is absolutely priceless.

     The Double-Edged Sword Job
  • Parker's first scene of the episode is her doing a therapy exercise with her hand puppets—which immediately gets derailed when one of them mentions clowns in a guttural voice, spooking Parker.
  • Eliot's been flirting with the U.S. Marshal Maria Shipp, and gives the team ten seconds to make jokes about it.
Breanna: Do you call 911 when you want some booty?
Parker: Does she make you call her "officer"?
Harry: Who's the cop and who's the bottom?
  • At the end of the episode, Breanna puts together that Harry plays video games, to which Harry cheekily responds, "Good luck proving that," before walking off while Breanna tries to get his gamer handle.

     The Bucket Job
  • Sophie, in an attempt to avoid doing the job, tries to get everyone to play "Forehead Detective", where you stick a post-it note with a character written on it on your head and try and guess what yours says. But when the rest of the team turn around, their notes spell out "C'mon, just do it". Except Parker and Eliot are in the wrong places, so it comes out as "C'mon, just it do", which Eliot hastily amends.
  • Blanche, who is played by LeVar Burton, has no idea what TNG is.
  • To keep up the act, Eliot has to give Parker's character a flash drive full of "data" to decrypt, when the only thing it really contains is Eliot's prized chili recipe.
  • Harry Wilson plays a spy who is going to be revealed as a traitor. This leads to him in an eyepatch, with a cane, making HORRIBLE one-liners.
    • Then Blanche realizes he's bad early...and beats the crud out of poor Harry.
  • Harry fiddling with a spy device Blanche had in his bag, which ends up shooting out a dart fast enough to lodge itself in the wall. Parker wisely takes the dart gun from a shocked Harry.
  • Blanche taking off in the sports car Eliot got earlier in the episode... only for Breanna to remember and point out the car was a rental.
Sophie: And there goes the budget!

     The Unwellness Job
  • At the start of the episode, Parker's directing a job between the Korean and Nigerian branches of Leverage. This being Parker, the process involves stabbing watermelons with knives while dressed as a sushi chef and blindfolded.
    • And then Sophie throws a knife right into one of the watermelons with a veiled threat against the mark, prompting Eliot to ask why all the knives.
  • "And that's how grandma learns about space lasers."
  • Parker putting Breanna through jumping-off-building training. By which we mean strapping Breanna into a harness and leaving her dangling from the ceiling.
  • Eliot's reaction to Chad's right-hand man Ivor shrugging off a punch instantly:

     The Great Train Job
  • Parker paragliding into the briefing after dropping the clients off at their hotel.
  • Harry revealing his second car full of chemical testing equipment to Eliot.
Eliot: You know, we never discussed this before you joined, but are you a serial killer?
  • There's one group of law enforcement that everyone on the team fears unequivocally fears and refuse to go anywhere near: the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Harry can't believe that the team will throw down with anyone except "Dudley Do-Right" (a nickname the Mounties apparently hate).
  • The crimes the team are wanted for in Canada:
Eliot: Off the books incursion in Saskatchewan.
    Breanna: Torrented some Twitch City.
    Parker: Stole the Stanley Cup.
Sophie: Egregious misuse of a Mountie's hat. And handcuffs. Beat Wait—I stole the Stanley Cup!
Parker: Oh yeah? Then where is it?
Sophie: I know where it is, I just forgot where I stored it!
Parker: Well, aren't you happy I found it then?
    Sophie: Parker!
  • Breanna's date Emily admitting she doesn't know any of her boss's secrets, so she couldn't tell Breanna anything, even if she were subject to Tickle Torture. Cue knowing smile from Breanna and Emily awkwardly changing topics.

     The Muddy Waters Job

     The Harry Wilson Job
  • After Hardison makes his reappearance by knocking out a guy before Eliot can, he and Eliot get into an argument back at the office. Eliot's upset Hardison didn't tell anyone he was back, while Hardison is just sarcastically asking why Eliot's the only person allowed to make cool entrances.
Eliot: I'M NOT DEBATING THE COOLNESS OF THE ENTRANCE!
  • Hardison and Harry's method of communication involved messages hidden within fake pet magazines, as well as one called Pony Fans, which was... not what they thought it was going to be. Harry's still peeved the magazine showed up outside his office.
    • Hardison may/may not have done it on purpose.
  • Parker assures Hardison there's no lingering issues between them, claiming that "past Parker" was upset, not her. Hardison remarks that he loves her, and past Parker, and future Parker, at which point Parker takes the metaphor in a...weird direction:
Parker: Thank you. (ducking out of Hardison's attempted hug) But it's a wasted effort! Past Parker is dead. She dies every second, over and over. Future Parker never arrives. She's suspended in time forever.
Breanna: Sometimes you forget how her brain works and then—(explosion sound)
  • The end of the episode sees Sophie realize Leverage International is 'her stage' and deciding to stay... and then having everyone's paperwork dumped on her not one minute later.
Sophie: (reading one of the bills) Eliot! Three hundred dollars for a haircut?!

Season 2

    The Tournament Job
  • After Elliot insults competitive gaming, Breanna says she's going to text Hardison that Elliot said that. Elliot has barely finished scoffing at the notion that he should be worried by that when he gets a series of lecturing texts from Hardison.
  • Harry absolutely fanboying over the fact the team's latest job concerns one of his favorite games of all time.
  • Parker mentioning that with the sheer amount of satellite coverage Hardison has access to, he's always watching her. And towards the end of the episode, it's proven when Sophie gets a text from him telling her exactly what to do to solve the team's problem, prompting her to note how unsettling that is.
  • Several times throughout the episode, Parker tries (and fails) to do a decent Schwarzenegger impression, much to Eliot's annoyance.

The Belly of the Beast Job
  • The episode focuses on what the Leverage crew's antics look like to an outside observer, and features Jenna, the episode's POV character, nearly blowing up the con several times by complete accident. A few examples:
    • Jenna gets hired by the mark instead of Breanna, meaning from the word 'go', they have to throw out Plan A.
    • She recognizes the Leverage team's tendency to use Doctor Who characters as fake names, preventing Sophie as 'Lethbridge-Stuart' from meeting with the mark.
    • Eliot has to hide in the food truck because Jenna knows him as the receptionist, handing Sophie gumbo from under the counter in order to serve them. Jenna recognizes her later at the bar where Leverage is headquartered, forcing Sophie and Breanna to make up an excuse on the spot or else the con getting blown up.
  • In one of the few cut-aways to the perspective of Team Leverage, we get this exchange:
Breanna: Did you just roofie a serial sex offender?
    Parker: Do tigers wear tutus?
    They Fist Bump.
  • Harry's role in this episode is distracting the mark's assistant by pretending to be a Belgian prince disguised as a lumberjack. He barely bothers with the accent, but the mark's so enamored by the fantasy that she falls for it without question.
  • A very large lampshade is hung on the implausible technology level of Leverage's earbuds when Keith hands Jenna a basic Bluetooth bud to communicate with.
    Jenna: Oh, it's— it's a little staticky.
Keith: Well, I could do better with unlimited money, a tech genius, and access to futuristic technology. But you know, who has time for that?
  • Security attempts to stop Jenna from infiltrating the office, forcing Eliot to intervene as stealthily as possible. At the end of the episode, when the mark is being led away by cops, nobody seems to notice the two members of security lying unconscious in the office shrubbery.
  • The ending of the episode has Jenna and Keith congratulating themselves on a job well done, walking past the Leverage crew while saying that they accomplished the job by themselves. Their body language screams Dude, Where's My Respect?, especially Eliot's frustrated posture.

    The Museum Makeover Job

    The Crowning Achievement Job
  • Harry and Parker distract the over-excited museum owner by manipulating him into trying to be an Amateur Sleuth and accusing his own security guards of stealing the crown. The Let Me Get This Straight... reaction of the actual investigator who walks in on the scene (and finds out that Harry “accidentally” turned off the security cameras) increases the hilarity.
  • Proving that people in Leverage's setting have no media literacy, Parker gets away with impersonating an FBI agent named Clarice Starling, even doing an imitation of Jodie Foster from the film.
