• In episode 2, Fino encounters a strange man who comes into the store demanding money. Since she has no concept of a robber, she thinks he's a customer, and keeps trying to repeat the phrases Raul taught her earlier. He tries to attack her a couple of times, but always misses because she inadvertently dodges at the last second.
• Seara vs Raid across the last two episodes. She attacks him with various magical appliances, while Elza describes how they work. Seara uses a hair dryer to create a gale force wind, and a boom box for a sonic attack. Then she gets a rice cooker, and Elza describes its steaming power, but Seara just smashes him in the face with it. And at the end, Seara tells Raid she is going to bill him for the items she used. He looks at a huge pile of appliances, including a full sized refrigerator, and asks if he can put it on his card and get monthly installment payments.
• In the OVA, once Raul's sister arrives, Fino puts on an incredibly hammy show as the "evil overlord." No one else in the square is paying attention to it.
