• In Chapter 11, Hiyori runs to a bathroom after getting a nosebleed from seeing Tsukasa and Miyuki sleeping in their seats holding hands and slumped against each other in the theatre, leaving Patricia to chase after her. Ayaka finds this so hilarious that she is quickly reduced to rolling around on the floor, tears streaming down her face from laughing so hard. Later, when Konata gets a text from Yutaka about her confession to Minami, Hiyori faints outright, leaving Patricia to carry her away as Hiyori mutters about her manga.
  • Later in the story, Hiyori and Patricia run into Yutaka and Minami at the movie theatre, and Hiyori suddenly runs off to draw some more manga, once again exasperating Patricia.
• In Chapter 17, during a game of Truth or Dare, Ayaka convinces Nanami to dare Mariko and Chiyoko to make out. They do it. Ayaka then falls onto the floor, laughing her ass off, while Nanami can only stare at Mariko and Chiyoko in wide-eyed disbelief. An embarrassed Chiyoko immediately turns as red as a tomato and angrily snaps at Nanami for making her do that. For her part, Mariko tries to comfort her by saying she was "really good at it".
