• Tracy during "Good Morning Baltimore" cheerfully waving hello to a flasher (played by John Waters) who smiles back and then exposes himself to three women behind her.
  • Tracy too busy dancing and missing the bus. Then stopping a truck so she can ride on top of it to get to school.
• In "I Can Hear the Bells", by the time Tracy emerges from a restroom stall wearing a toilet paper bridal veil (yes, really), Penny's pretty much stopped questioning it, and spends the rest of the number wearing a face that says "Welp, I guess Tracy's insane now. Oh well."
• Link finally growing a spine and telling his history teacher to "kiss my ass".
  • What makes it even funnier is that it's said, dead serious, as an answer to the question "What were the immortal last words of Patrick Henry?"
• Link's utterly sincere line when he shows up at the Turnblad residence.
  Link: I can't believe Tracy savagely bludgeoned an Eagle Scout! That's just not like her.
• Penny hides Tracy in a fallout shelter under her house...without realizing what it is.
  Penny: Anyway, there's food, water, a first aid kit, gas mask, Russian language books... I don't even know why we have this room.
• After learning about Seaweed and Penny's new interracial relationship, Maybelle warns them that they will be facing pushback from society, in the form of "A whole lotta ugly coming from a never-ending parade of stupid." Penny's response: "So, you've met my mom?"
