- Ross buys everyone in the group a spectral tiger, costing him more than $700. Nobody picks it as their steed, and everyone is completely nonplussed when he tells them that they have a rideable status symbol.
- It gets even better with later episodes. When Jesse is brought onto the show, his reaction is a casual "yeah I think I have one of those." The next day, Holly (the most experienced WoW player on the show) is introduced, and she's just as unimpressed as the others were. On the last day, a large group of Lovelies find out about it, and one of them says "I had no idea Arin was this good at World of Warcraft!"
- After Ross explains how much the tigers cost, Arin gives him a look and says, "Hey, you know, when I gave you that budget, it was for, like...tools and, uh..."
- Ross is completely astounded with the gang's incompetence. Apparently, he's seen six-year-olds who have played this game better.
- Suzy gives us this gem:Suzy: I turned a bird into a sheep twice! *big grin*
- Dan slowly running out of energy during day two.Danny: The stakes are so high, dude. If we fail in this mission... then I'll be forced to go, uh, to, um... the fridge and get myself a sandwich... and that's fate that is worse than... two sandwiches. (beat) I think I've lost my mind. (nervously laughs)
- The intro to Day 3:Ross: Welcome to Day 3 of the World of Warcraft Challenge. How you guys feeling?Suzy: I hate you. I don’t want to do this. I want to go home.Ross: Arin?Arin: (shit-eating grin) I hate you. I don’t want to do this. I want to go home.Ross: Dan?Dan: (death glare)
- By episode 3 Danny is burned out and leaves, stopping to grab several bowls of candy on his way out.Danny: Guys, I'm really sorry. I love you all. I can't do it anymore.Ross: What?Danny: I have to throw in the towel. (Throws a roll of paper towels at Ross.)
- At the beginning of Episode 4, Holly reveals that Suzy has also quit.Holly: Suzy told me to give it you. (Throws roll of paper towels at Ross.)Arin: She also told her to do that. I-I- I was just lying about that. I didn’t know. I knew.
- Suzy also sent Ross a picture of her giving him the finger.
- Holly realizing Ross never taught Barry or Arin more fun aspects of the game and that they have been basically Buttonmashing.
- Arin tries to kill Ross after finding out from Holly that he has specific abilities and buffs he can use. All the while Ross thinks he has been pretty clear with his instructions.
- After helping them Holly says this:Holly: I've been playing since vanilla WoW real good. Just saying, MLG pro Doritos Airhorn sitting right here.
- Ross and his seemingly endless array of facepalms.Ross: It's like herding cats.
