While Minato and Junpei are introduced to Tartarus for the first time, Junpei has a reasonable reaction. Minato, on the other hand, starts thinking about pancake spread.
Minato's first impression of Shinjiro:
"When we got to the room Akihiko was supposed to be in, he wasn't there. Unless he had the ability to transform into a big guy with a mullet, trench coat and a beanie. Which I'm sure he doesn't."
After Minato taunts the Reaper and causing more shadows to appear, he has this to say on his next visit to the Velvet Room.
In Chapter 53, the party tries thinking of all kinds of ways to get the police officers to leave the location of the Justice Shadow. In particular, Junpei suggested to have a donut party nearby, to distract them.
Near the end of Chapter 54, with Minato's exclamations of "BURN THE WITCH!" and "BURN THE WARLOCK!" towards Mitsuru and Akihiko when he finds they signed him up for summer classes.
