"Hey, if it makes him happy, good for him."
The premise is simple: everyone from Super Smash Brothers Ultimate lives in one house, hilarity ensues.
    open/close all folders
    Non-Arcs
  • We get to see the trailer from Sakurai's POV as he just misses the intro of World of Light, leaving him with 77 hot dogs, a traumatized Kirby with teeth, and Maya Fey singing "Lifelight".
Sakurai: WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!
  • Galeem and Dharkon are getting ready to fight, when a fishing rod hits Dharkon. The two share awkward glances. They later return Isabelle to the mansion to Sakurai's delight.
  • Arthur Morgan plays poker with some of the characters. Only, said characters have psychicnote , auranote , and future seeingnote  powers that give them an advantage. And a couple of Pikmin are snatching poker chips.
  • Smashers on Zoom. Which goes as well as you expect.
    • And Steve appears with his "meat" out...
      • Donkey Kong of all people is the only one with proper professional Zoom etiquette.
      • The bonus panel shows that Mega Man and R.O.B were supposed to attend the Zoom meeting, only for them to be stuck on the CAPTCHA screen.
  • In Age Rage, the Smashers are looking at old photos which provides many funny moments:
    • Link and Toon Link are arguing about Link's CD-i game design.
    • Pikachu states that he's been working out through a speech bubble of him running on a treadmill.
    • Falco jokes about Simon being Owen Wilson's long-lost twin brother.
    • Finally, Richter discovers a photo of Sakurai looking exactly the same in 1999 as he does in 2019. It then cuts to the two attacking Falco and Sakurai as Sakurai gives Falco an annoyed look.
    • The bonus panel shows Mega Man has snatched his old photos so everyone else won't see the old box art of him.
  • The Things We Do for Love has various male Smash characters intentionally getting themselves critically wounded just so that they could visit Pyra/Mythra in the hospital. Dr. Mario quits.
    • Even funnier? Chrom and Richter are among the fighters that willingly injure themselves to see Pyra and Mythra, and, canonically, Chrom is married and Richter already has a girlfriend.
    • Even moreso that Pyra and Mythra's debut established them as Rex's Violently Protective Girlfriends, meaning that none of these guys ever had a chance with the Aegis.
  • "Unplanned Parenthood". Fox is exclaiming how much he loves spring...until Kazooie walks right past... with blue chicks with red eyelids. Fox then takes back what he said.
Fox: (glaring at Falco) Actually. On second thought. I really hate spring.
    • A follow up reveals that Kazooie's chicks are apparently not Falco's. He then notices Sephiroth painting easter eggs (and the one that he was painting was blue). Cue Falco angrily beating up Sephiroth who states that he was not responsible for it.
  • Sacking Seph has Ganondorf confronting Sephiroth for being a Nice Guy, and tells him he's no longer part of the Villain Club. Sephiroth misundestands and thinks that Ganondorf doesn't want one of his cupcakes. It ends with the rest of the Villain Club members giving Ganondorf a "Really?" look who already ate a cupcake which means he didn't revoke Sephiroth's membership.
    • Wii Fit Trainer politely declined the treat for "Ahem" personally reasons.
    • To Greninja and Yoshi, it looked like chaos was about to start with them in the middle. So Yoshi hid himself in an egg while Greninja replaced himself with a "Substitute".
  • Psycho Therapy is an interesting comic, to say the least. While Dr. Mario converting to therapy practices considering his rage quit as a doctor in a previous comic is funny, it's his recommendations to Cloud that provides the page’s image.
    • Even funnier is how Cloud eats a random mushroom and hops on Squirtle's shell like he's a Koopa all while Mewtwo, King K. Rool and Pac-Man just drink their coffee like it's just another Tuesday.
    • The bonus panel reveals Peach and Daisy are now very attracted to him. Luigi points out to his brother that this is all his fault.
  • Face Reveal. So the punchline isn't spoiled, let's put it at this: Ethan Winters visits the Smash Mansion and hilarity ensues.
  • Isabelle becomes Sakurai's secretary. One notable moment is when she is walking the dogs and among them are Lucario (who is carrying a newspaper and toilet paper roll), Fox and Wolf (who are fighting), and Duck Hunt Dog. Not to mention that she is a dog herself.
  • "Why Do I Hear Boss Music?":
    • Sephiroth loops Ness and Lucas into pranking Cloud Strife via playing his own boss music at full volume while Cloud is asleep. The result lands Cloud in Dr. Mario's office due to PTSD, causing Sakurai to glare at Sephiroth; the One-Winged Angel smiles innocently, while Ness and Lucas have identical blank stares.
    • The vision chart in Dr. Mario's office says, "Put Rayman in you cowards".
  • Sephiroth has been giving troll letters to potential smashers. But he learns the hard way that you should never troll Doomguy...
  • "Fall Out" has the Smashers debating over their love/hate towards the Fall season that ends up in an all-out brawl. Rayman and Alan Wake pass by while having coffee and realizing why it's called the Smash House.
    • The bonus panels has Palutena face desking when she sees her boys fighting.
  • Wario and Waluigi's business of selling Elephant Fruit goes well enough until Dizzy, an actual elephant child, tries one, causing him to sprout elephant parts on top of what he already had. This quickly earns them a trip to the same jail that they got Toad sent to, who's quick to point out the irony.
    Toad: Well Well Well.
    • In the bonus comic, Pit and Sora have noticed discourse over the belief that female characters under the effects of the Elephant Fruit are not attractive enough, so they have decided to run an experiment with the assistance of Dark Samus. First she eats the Elephant Fruit... and then she puts on the Super Crown, resulting in her becoming a Little Bit Beastly Big Beautiful Woman. It's safe to say that their experiment is a success.
  • The Talking Flowers ruin several Smashers' days by choosing to say what's on their minds on rather unfavorable timing, like:
    • Giving R.O.B.'s position away in a game of Battleship.
    • Startling Ike in the shower, who says his "Ragnell" is pretty impressive.
    • Ratting Bowser Jr. out for eating out the cookie jar.
    • By the end, Isabelle tells the Wonder cast that they're going have to lay some rules about what they bring home from the Flower Kingdom, and is given a good example:
  • Mystery Massacre opens with Palutena, Little Mac, and Greninja waking up outside with heavy damage in the area surrounding the Smash House. Everyone initially concludes that Sephiroth didn't have a change in heart after all and that he made a coordinated attack. Little Mac checks his phone to find clues to what happened and finds... a video recording of everyone about to abuse the powers of the Wonder Flowers for the sake of a party. Whoops.
    • There's a Bilingual Bonus with Scorpion: He's covered in a banner that reads a series of binary code. It spells "loss".
    • In the bonus comic, Isabelle comes around a puddle of blood and asks if anyone has a recording of the party. Mac, who now knows it happened due to Tifa flashing her breasts, wisely chooses to delete the recording.
  • The spirit of Geno pranking Samus by possessing various objects:
    • Her power suit, which he uses to greet her, leading to a Double Take from Samus.
    • A substitute doll, which he uses to chase Greninja around, calling it "father".
    • R.O.B., which he uses to make him tell Samus that she's getting a make over.
    • A Beetle, which he uses to perform said makeover (chopping off her ponytail).
Samus: (Still holding Greninja in her arms) I remember why we never invited that guy now.
  • Lucina got a new boyfriend, but is nervous about introducing him to the others. Chrom reassures her it's fine, as the Smashers are quite accepting and invites him to dinner. Said dinner has Kazuya fighting the new boyfriend, Jin Kazama.
    • Another case of tempting fate happens in the bonus comic, where Lucina asks if Jin has any evil exes to worry about. Cue Xiaoyu charging in and siccing Panda on them.

"Everyone Got Murdered By Sephiroth So Now Kazuya Has to Bring Everyone Back" Arc
  • The title for this arc being Exactly What It Says on the Tin and being rather verbose.
  • After Kazuya arrives, he finds Incineroar and the Pokémon explains what has happened and that they have to revive everyone... but Kazuya had thrown most of their corpses into a volcano.
Incineroar: You're very lucky I'm a Fire-type. Also, you have some issues, man.
    • To be fair, the bonus panels for the previous comic showed Kazuya did this as he thought it was a "proper burial".
    • When Kazuya tells Incineroar that everyone is dead, Incineroar thinks that Kazuya was the one who killed them. He explains he didn't, but he could have killed them if he wanted to, which Incineroar says is a weird flex.
    • Incineroar figures out Sephiroth was the true culprit by asking Kazuya if there was a "silver-haired anime guy" among the dead.
      Kazuya: Yes, multiple.
Incineroar: Let me rephrase that: Did you notice a silver-haired half naked anime guy?
Kazuya: No, they were wearing clothes. Although one of them had bare feet.
    • There's a realistic portrait of Lucas on a frame in the house, which also serves as his fighter portrait (until he gets revived).
  • When keeping count of all the bodies in order to start reviving fighters, Incineroar notices that Kirby is missing, even after Incineroar had recovered everyone from the volcano. The duo goes to Lakitu to find footage of where Kirby's body could have gone, only to reveal that he survived Sephiroth's poisoning and simply flew away when Kazuya threw him into the volcano. Right in that moment, Kirby shows up out of nowhere, scaring Incineroar.
    • The bonus panels have the three remaining fighters trying on the new DLC costumes for the Miis.
  • Incineroar, Kazuya and Kirby go to Waluigi and ask him for help to revive the Mario characters. Waluigi initially scoffs due to both not being invited as a fighter and the numerous times he has been kicked out of the Smash house, but agrees to help in exchange of one thing. He tells the trio to use 1-UP Mushrooms to bring back everyone and he gives them a list of the best spots to farm them, but in the case of Yoshi, he tells them not to worry about him and gives them a Yoshi Egg, from which a new Yoshi appears.
Waluigi: We've been sacrificing Yoshi's since 1990! It's Mushroom Kingdom tradition.
    • Incineroar is disturbed over how in the Mushroom Kingdom people sacrifice Yoshis so casually. Waluigi tells Incineroar that he comes from a world in which sentient balloons try to drag children into the afterlife, so maybe he shouldn't be so quick to judge. Incineroar answers by saying that he makes a good point.
    • After the new Yoshi comes out of the egg, the old deceased Yoshi is tossed into a trash can, which is funny and sad at the same time.
    • Another reason why Waluigi is reluctant? The bonus panels in a previous comic showed Kazuya tossed Waluigi into the volcano for claiming he was a Smasher. Incineroar then realizes it is fun.
    • What did Waluigi want in exchange for his contribution to the revival quest? A simple mock-up photo of him looking like he had joined the roster. It looks like Waluigi really did follow Ridley's advice from a few years prior.
    • The Bonus Panel reveal Kazuya took Waluigi's declaration of tradition too seriously and started throwing Yoshis into a volcano.
  • Before using the 1-UP Mushrooms to revive the Mario cast, Incineroar decides to play a trick on them by stripping them down to their underwear, putting them into a series of compromising positions, doodling up moustaches and whatnot on them, dressing up Bowser Jr. in drag, placing Peach and Daisy next to Luigi as if he Really Gets Around, and shaving off Rosalina's hair as well as Wario's eyebrows and moustache. In turn, Incineroar gets part of his fur shaved off by all of them to replace the hair they lost in the bonus panels.
Incineroar: You know what? Totally Worth It.
    • Rosalina uses the fur she got from Incineroar to make herself a wig, Wario uses it to replace his moustache, while Peach and Daisy use it to make themselves bikinis. Later comics show that Peach and Daisy have started a lingerie business, making bikinis and women's underwear with Incineroar's fur.
    • The sight of Yoshi wearing a nurse cap.
  • Because 1-UP Mushrooms did not work on Piranha Plant, Kazuya raises a seed it had left behind until it grows into a new Piranha Plant and considers it his own child. He is not amused when Wario states he should have left it to rot.
    • The preview for the bonus panel shows Daisy in her new Fur Bikini, and is described as "Daisy Simp Food", all crossed out.
      • And in the full panel, Peach and Daisy note how they could make a business out of selling their new outfits, with the author noting Patreon payers skyrocketed after last week's panel.
  • Incineroar and Kazuya travel to a New Horizons island in order to get a new Isabelle to replace the one Sephiroth killed. Isabelle initially refuses to leave the island as she must be there in order to help the Island Representative (in spite of her not having stepped foot into the island in 8 months and it becoming abandoned and overgrown with weeds). Incineroar then procceeds to tell Isabelle that he understands her stance because she seems busy, and that reviving the fighters would take a lot of research, hard work and problems to solve. Cue to the next panel in which Isabelle arrives at the Smash Mansion carrying suitcases.
    • The island is called Buttville.
    • How bad is the situation on the island exactly? Well, try Gulliver being reduced to a skeleton and Drake apparently turning feral, even having grown a beard.
    • In the Resident Services Building there is a picture of a dickbutt Tom Nook.
    • At the beginning of the comic, Incineroar is reading a magazine named "Cat Girls Monthly".
    • The bonus panels has Peach and Daisy trying to shave Incineroar again to make a new Fur Bikini for Isabelle. Luigi tells Isabelle she'll get used to it.
  • When Incineroar and Kazuya go to Cranky Kong in order to revive DK and Diddy, he demands 5 Banana Coins as payment for two balloons. Kazuya tells him that they don't have any and Cranky should just give them the balloons or they will throw him into a volcano. Cranky responds by whacking Kazuya in the face with his walking stick.
    • Incineroar does manage to strike a bargain... by giving Cranky both a coat made from his own fur (with a hat for Squawks) and Kazuya's pants.
    • The bonus panel show Peach and Daisy trying to get Incineroar to regain his fur quickly for their lingerie business.
  • Kazuya and the recently shaven Incineroar climb the Ice Climbers mountain to get the corn needed to revive them. Unfortunately, they, alongside the Baby Piranha Plant, become frozen due to not wearing any winter gear, which Isabelle scolds them for. They probably would have been stranded there if it was not for Madeline finding them.
    • Incineroar's pose upon getting frozen: He was trying to grab the Condor with one of the corns, who is just staring at the frozen Pokémon.
    • Bowser has to unfreeze Incineroar, Kazuya and Piranha Plant with his fire breath. Also, some doodle leftover from Incineroar's prank can still be seen on Bowser's leg and shell.
    • The fact that Incineroar's belt was not even hot enough to prevent him from freezing is a bit funny.
  • Incineroar, Kirby, and Kazuya get help from Alucard in order to revive the Belmonts. When the time to get an orb from Death comes, though, he bows to Kirby without a thought, calling him his lord. Cue the last panel of the other fighters looking at him nervously as Simon and Richter are confused.
  • The crew heads to Hyrule to revive the Legend of Zelda fighters, but Incineroar is wondering why they brought King K. Rool's body with them since he is not a Zelda character. Turns out Isabelle figured that since the Blood Moon revives monsters, it should work on the King as well due to his similarities to a Lizalfos. Which does.
Incineroar: Man, I'm glad we revived you early.
    • Becomes darkly hilarious when you take into account that they didn't revive Isabelle, they just replaced her.
    • The bonus panels show Peach and Daisy trying to recruit Gerudos to be models for their business.
  • In Results May Fairy, Peach and Daisy bring back Young Link and Zelda using fairies. Daisy hopes that Rosalina and Richter are doing as well as they are. We then cut to them, Yoshi and Bowser Jr., with Kass' help, reviving regular Link by placing him in the Shrine of Resurrection from the beginning of Breath of the Wild. After that's done, Kass says with accomplishment that they just have to wait a hundred years for Link to come back. Richter and Rosalina take some seconds to register this before reacting appropriately.
Richter: (grabbing Kass by the scarf) WE WAIT HOW LONG!?
  • Soupiroth: has many funny moments in an otherwise heartwarming episode.
    • Wario gets himself, Simon, and Kirby lost in the woods because he thought that the "W" on the map stood for his name. Turns out said "W" was an "M" and Wario was holding the map upside down, much to Simon's fury.
Simon: Why would a map have your name on it!?
    • When a cloaked figure who appears to be Sephiroth approaches them, Wario holds Kirby in front of him and Simon telling the figure to stay back because they "have a Kirby".
    • The cloaked figure is not Sephiroth but Toon Link's Grandma, who revives her grandson with her Elixir Soup and offers some to Simon, Wario and Kirby.
      • Why would Toon Link's Grandma dress up as Sephiroth? Most likely to Troll whoever was trying to recover her grandson.
    • The disgruntled Korok from the previous comic can be seen finding a nice tree branch to sleep on.
    • The bonus panel has them see a campfire on a mountain far away and they think it's from some more travelers. In reality, it's the group who was assigned regular Link trying to open the seal where he was stored, with no luck.
Rosalina: Put your back into it, man! Are those muscles just for show?!
Richther: SHUT UP AND HELP US, WOMAN!
  • Stay Ganonymous does have its funny moments.
    • Sheik is revived by a fairy, but the fairy assigned to revive Ganondorf refuses to bring him back to life, even with a ">:(" in its speech bubble.
    • Mario's team goes into Gerudo Town, and what's the first thing he does? Proudly declare their intentions of reviving Ganondorf. They get welcomed by a plethora of spears and thrown into prison.
Sheik: (to Mario) That was not the brightest thing you've ever done.
      • Take a closer look at the Geurdo in Frame 3, there's one with a poster of rules (1. No men, 2. No Reviving Dark Lords) impaled on the spear she's holding, a Korok wielding a wooden one, a sand seal with one in its mouth, one with the OoT design, and one wearing a bikini made of Incineroar's fur!
  • In "Yiga Knockout," Master Kohga appropriately takes a moment to compliment DK's impressive banana stash. "Awesome. Huge fan."
    • Apparently, the Yiga Clan use a modern looking machine (the "Ganon Revivatron 2000") for reviving Ganondorf a la Frankenstein's monster, as opposed to any magic you might have expected. The Yiga also make sure to wear their safety goggles. Over their masks.
    • Some background gags: a Korok is among the Yiga membership, there's a tapestry with a Sheikah and Yiga Clan member re-enacting the "Soyjack and Chad" meme situated above the heroes' cage, and one of the Yiga turns around to take a selfie as Ganondorf is revived.
    • The comic ends with a revived Ganondorf wordlessly beating up the Yiga for trying to use the other Smash Fighters as offerings (remember, he's a Mean Character, Nice Actor in this comic), and they all happily leave together, with DK adding insult to injury by making off with the Yigas' own banana stash. Meanwhile, a Korok resets the days since last incident counter.
    • The bonus panels. Mario's group is walking back through Gerudo Town. One of them spots Ganondorf. It then cuts to Ganondorf and the others in a throne room, with Ganondorf forgetting the fact that Gerudo law states that any male that is born into the Gerudo (and one is born every 100 years) becomes their king.
  • While everyone else is in Hyrule, Bowser is relaxing at the mansion reading a book when we see someone dressed in purple walk in. Bowser thinks it's Waluigi and without looking up from the book he's reading tells him that the fighters are all reviving the Zelda characters while he was tasked with watching over the bodies of the deceased fighters. But it turns out its Sephiroth who came back to check on his grand plan. Sephiroth tells Bowser that he is going to make sure that the fighters can't be revived by rendering them Deader than Dead when someone taps his shoulder...
Sora: Hey I got my invitation. My real one. So uh...how does this Smash Bros thing work? Do I start beating you up? ...Again?
    • The next panel has Sephiroth (who is partly frozen, on fire, and electrified) running away screaming "No one told me that kid was coming!!". And his sword's broken.
    • Sora's invitation has "Don't tell the mouse" written on it.
    • Also, the reason Bowser is not in Hyrule is because Isabelle told him that no disguise would keep the locals from freaking out when they saw him.
    • The bonus panel shows Kris and Susie inside the mansion, leading Bowser to ask why is everyone just walking in here.
  • In the bonus panels for "Of Dogs and Ducks... and Horses", Donald and Goofy pay Sora a visit, only to storm out when they see him with Duck Hunt, thinking they've been replaced.
  • Super Space Bros.:
    • Sora mispronounces Bowser's name as Browser. To be fair, it's hard to blame him for thinking that's how his name is spelled.
      • The caption below the comic in the official website clarifies that it wasn't a typo.
    • Samus is revealed to never have died, as she was on a mission at the time and she simply left a spare Varia Suit behind. This means that Sephiroth tried to poison an empty space suit and somehow convinced himself that he had killed Samus.
    • Sora states two common misconceptions related to Samus and her franchise:
Sora: I thought his name was Metroid.note
    • Sora says "Amogus" in response to Bowser saying they need help reviving the space characters "among us".
    • Bowser recruits Master Chief to help save Samus and go to space. As he is approaching the house of the Xbox characters he thinks that they are weirdos (the house has an American Flag, a Doritos symbol, and a Mountain Dew symbol on the door).
    • When Sora, Bowser, Duck Hunt, and Master Chief go to Hyrule to recruit Richter, Rosalina, Yoshi and Bowser Jr., we get this gem from Sora of all people:
    • The bonus panels reveal that Bowser hired the casts from Undertale and Deltarune to watch the house while they are gone. And Sans is reasonably mortified when he sees the dead Mii Gunner still wearing his costume.
  • After saving Samus from an EMMI and reviving Dark Samus, Sora questions what the latter looks like underneath her armor, guessing she looks like a "super gnarly and disturbing alien skeleton" (which is what she looks like in the actual games). Dark Samus takes off her armor, shocking everyone...because she looks like a pale-skinned Samus with black and cyan-streaked hair. Sora immediately starts taking photos while Bowser covers Bowser Jr.'s eyes.
  • The Duck Hunt Duck manages to earn 100 hit points AND fly through three rings twice, earning three 1-ups for the Star Fox fighters and shutting down Samus and Master Chief's petty argument.
    • A Space Invaders alien is one of the enemies shot down by the duck.
    • The GabaLeth Fan Dub adds a punchline that makes the original script even better:
Master Chief: Did we just get owned by a duck?!
    • The bonus panels has Sora taking more selfies, and Richter notes they should confiscate his phone.
  • The Smashers go to PNF-404 to revive Olimar and Alph by utilizing the "bad ending" of the first Pikmin game. Falco asks Samus why Ridley was buried as well given that he is not a Pikmin character, to which Samus retorts that Ridley ALWAYS finds a way to come back. The two then make a bet on if it works or not. Cut back to the mansion where Ridley is alive (with a Pikmin stem) and Samus is holding $100 while Falco has an annoyed look on his face.
    • Master Chief earning the love of the Pikmin after accidentally stepping on a Bulborb that was chasing a small group of them.
    • Sora putting Donald Duck’s hat on Falco. Apparently, to Sora, all avians are Donald. It's made even funnier when you consider that Falco doesn't even notice it.
    • The bonus panels show that the kids Bowser hired earlier caused quite a mess.
  • Big-O-Blaster Chief is also funny despite being mostly heartwarming:
    • When Gruntilda protests about what Master Chief is doing, he knocks her out with his gun.
    • Wolf hugging his Wolfen when it returns.
    • The bonus panels have Peach and Daisy asking Gruntilda to be a lingerie model, having heard of her attractive self seen in the Game Over screen of the original game.
  • In Defibrillamon, a trainer uses Electrive's Thunderbolt to revive Pikachu and Pichu and they wake up crazy. Meanwhile, Incineroar is still stuck at the Sinnoh Border Control because he's from a younger generation than Gen 4.
    • Wario not caring about Electivire's perfect stats.
    • The bonus panel reveals Kazooie is missing... because Cynthia caught her, thinking she was a real Ho-Oh.
  • In "Psalm 493" the gang decides to consult Arceus to revive the dead Pokémon. Arceus declares the request to be heresy and attempts to punish them only for Sora to use the Master Ball he won for being the 1000th customer to the Pokémon Center to capture Arceus.
    • Nurse Joy explains that the Pokémon Center can't heal the Pokémon because they're dead (and one of them is a human kid). Also, Kazuya threatens to destroy the Pokémon Center because of it.
    • Cynthia tells the group that the Azure Flute was going to be given out to trainers, but they never got around to it.
    • The bonus panels has Cynthia nervously ask Sora if he would like to nickname his newly caught Pokémon. He immediately says yes despite the objections of Arceus and names his new friend Arcesus
  • Arceus only manages to revive Jigglypuff to everyone's confusion (and Jigglypuff's annoyance). He then states that his thing is creating life not reviving it. He suggests for the Smashers to find Xerneas since bringing things back to life is its thing (more specifically, Arceus describes Xerneas as "blue quadraped with glowing horns"). Samus and Pikachu offer to go and find it, but since they are in Sinnoh and not Kalos, they only end up finding Dialga, who is also quadraped with glowing horns.
    Dialga: Hi Dad!
    Arceus: (facepalming) Sigh. Hey son.
    • When Samus and Pikachu return, Jigglypuff has doodled all over the dead ones' bodies.
    • It makes the previous comic Hilarious in Hindsight because Arceus likely only threatened to inflict "divine punishment" because he didn't want everyone to know that his resurrection abilities are inefficient.
    • The bonus panel has Isabelle read up on Dialga and mentions to Samus to not abuse his powers. One panel later, the rest of the fighters are now all covered in doodles to Samus' satisfaction.
  • Following the previous comic where Dialga is found instead of Xerneas, in Hylian Invasion, everyone realizes that they can go to the future and pick up Link 100 years in the future. Fast forward to that day, and we see two monsters from the Breath of the Wild game discussing that this is the day that Link awakens, with one figuring that it probably wouldn't be too bad. Cue a storm of random fighters and Pokémon deities coming through a time/space portal.
"Two tickets to the Mushroom Kingdom, please."
    • The fighters quickly realized that even if they could use Dialga to time travel, they couldn't just leave Pokémon Trainer's body by itself, so they opted to find a way to quickly travel in both time and space. Arceus and Dialga stare at each other for two Beat Panels, then Arceus casually asks if anyone has an extra Poké Ball. At this point, he's just accepting his fate.
    • Also, Dialga playing the ocarina.
    • And Sora has some smudge on his face for some reason (probably from the previous comic's bonus panels).
    • And to round things off, the Funny Background Event Korok from before (now with a Time-Passage Beard) goes with the two monsters since its tree was just destroyed by the onslaught of fighters.
    • The bonus panels has Young Link jealous of regular Link because of his abs and interactions with Zelda.
  • After the group makes it to Kalos to find Xerneas, they discover Incineroar has been trying to catch replacement Pokémon to replace the dead ones with no luck. In his rant, he tosses one of the Com Mon he caught into a Wonder Trade machine… which gives him Xerneas— who is just as confused as everyone else— in return.
    • Zelda points to mistletoe above her and Link making Young Link jealous.
    • Kazuya crying (specifically, at reuniting with Incineroar, given he's happily embracing the cat who in return pats his back). That is all.
    • Incineroar, a Pokémon, catching OTHER POKÉMON.
    • At this point, the fighters are in possession of four of the strongest Pokémon in the franchise which is both Awesome and funny at the same time.
    • The GabaLeth dub has Incineroar saying "Well, that escalated quickly!" after the Wonder Trade machine gives him Xerneas.
  • Before the Smashers can use the legendary Pokémon to revive the rest of the fighters, Sephiroth returns with Giratina to stop the efforts and just kill them all again. However, Doomguy appears with Bayonetta, Villager and the original Isabelle from Hell. Having uncomfortable flashbacks to his previous encounter with the Bane of Hell, Sephiroth decides to just take the Smashers' newly acquired legendaries and leave while he still can, but not without telling them that they haven't seen the last of him.
    • Once Sephiroth's gone, the original Isabelle explains that after she met up with Bayonetta and Villager in Hell, she called her old friend Doomguy to bust them out. When Samus asks why would Isabelle be in Hell (she understands why Villager was though), the latter just winks at her, much to Samus' confusion and horror.
    • Before the legendaries are captured, Palkia is still wearing its Santa hat.
    • Despite being a hunter of evil, Simon looks attracted to Bayonetta. Richter gives an unamused look. According to Word of God, Simon and Bayonetta had a one-night stand.
  • Isabelle 2 reads that when Steve dies, he either 1) respawns in the area which he first appeared in his world or 2) beside the last bed he slept in. As Bayonetta has an Oh, Crap! moment realizing what it means, Steve comes out of her bedroom. This results in a huge argument with Simon calling her out for cheating on him, Bayonetta claiming it's Not What It Looks Like, Richter exclaiming he knew the two had something going on between them, and Fox and Pikachu are trying to calm both of them down as Steve simply stares at the camera... menacingly.
    • Bayonetta later turns out to be right though... a later bonus panel revealed Sephiroth secretly placed Steve in Bayonetta's bed to create more drama.
    • We can see Kazuya casually studying Tekken lore in the first panel along with Kirby, Squirtle, and Piranha Plant.
    • The panel before Steve reappears, when Bayonetta has an Oh, Crap! reaction, Simon's eyes dart to her as Richter gives a suspicious glare.
    • Why did Steve wait until now to come out of Bayonetta's bedroom? Knowing that he once exposed his "meat" in a live session, he likely wanted to screw with everyone.
    • The bonus panels: Simon puts up a dating profile, which Dark Samus finds and swipes right on.
  • Really Healing It has Isabelle 2 complaining that Xenoblade lore is super complicated and it won't be easy to revive Shulk. One barrage of healing spells later and Shulk is back up. Isabelle 2 burns all of her Xenoblade lore books in anger while everyone else is celebrating.
    • The caption below the comic in the official website has this gem:
Silly fan comic logic > Xenoblade Chronicles universe logic
    • If you think about it, in most of his game, Shulk is basically a zombie, so him getting revived this way actually kinda makes sense.
    • The bonus panels show Dark Samus' first date with Simon, who is so nervous that she bites the wine glass she was drinking.
  • After Shulk helps fix up R.O.B., the crew heads to Dr. Light to help Mega Man, who easily repairs his son with an extra head, or a 1-up in this case. One panel later, Kirby decides to try to use 1-up logic… and the rest of the fighters are treated to the nauseating sight of a bloody Kirby trying to use the disembodied head of a Mushroom Kingdom penguin to try and revive King Dedede. It doesn't work.
    • There's a sign that says, "NO we can't create "pleasure robots". Stop asking, you bunch of degenerates."
    • The fact that in this AU, all you need to revive Mega Man is to give him a new head while it's canonically more complicated than that (though it's very likely that his vital circuit survived the poisoning). When the head is attached, Mega Man's eyes display the Windows XP start-up screen. The GabaLeth dub adds the start-up sound as well.
    • Simon in the first panel looking at his phone with a lovestruck expression. Guess he and Dark Samus are going well.
    • Bayonetta looks like she's not handling the break-up very well, and she has a pint of ice cream with her. Floor Ice Cream, to be exact.
    • Among the disturbed fighters, Kazuya is the only one who doesn't look like he's ready to vomit.
    • In the bonus panels, Mega Man and R.O.B. catch Dark Samus and Simon coming out of the bathroom one after the other. The two robots promptly ask Shulk for a memory erase.
  • Mad at Simon for ditching her for Dark Samus on Valentines, Bayonetta decides to get payback. With advice from Scorpion and assistance from Kazuya and some winged Pikmin, she revives the other fighting game characters by invoking After-Combat Recovery to serve as her personal harem. Cue last panel of Bayonetta winking at Simon as she's carried by Ryu and Ken with Terry escorting them.
Terry: Make way! Make way for the beautiful Queen of Fighters!
    • Just like the Chrom and Richter situation with Pyra and Mythra, Ken is already married.
    • The first panel has a piece of text in the background saying something like:
"Yes we know many of our friends are still dead, we are working on it. Chill out."
      —Isabelle 1 & 2
    • Kazuya is reading "The Birds and the Bees" with Baby Piranha Plant.
    • Baby Piranha Plant joining Kazuya in his fighting pose is just adorably funny.
    • You can see that either Bayonetta or the flying Pikmin spelled "Kazuya" as "Yakuza" on accident before correcting it.
      • Related to that, the "R" in "Ryu" is backwards.
    • Zelda appears to have received a Valentine each from Link and Young Link... and is being given another one by Toon Link.
    • The fact that in this AU, you simply need to say “Round 2, FIGHT!” to revive the fighting game characters, since their game genre doesn’t feature 1-Ups.
    • The bonus panel preview shows Peach holding... a picture of Dark Samus wearing a bikini made of Incineroar's fur?
      • In the full panel, Peach and Daisy are asking Dark Samus to be a model for their lingerie business, then Samus asks how will they get all that fur. Peach reveals they have an Alola branch getting materials... as in, having Wendy breed an endless amount of Littens to shave later.
  • The fighters go camping to resurrect Hero, but everything that can go wrong with camping does go awry:
    • Rosalina ends up inhaling smoke from a campfire Incineroar and others were roasting marshmallows with.
    • Ants get into Ryu's snack bag and render the food unsafe to eat. They also get all over Ken, causing him to furiously scratch himself.
    • Ganondorf and Steve get a hole in their tent. A heavy thunderstorm then starts, flooding it.
    • Fox and Falco argue over how to pitch a tent.
    • Luigi and Sora's sleep is interrupted by Wario's incredibly loud snoring.
    • Banjo, Kazooie, and Olimar try to stop creatures from raiding their food supply.
    • By the time Hero is back, everyone is completely annoyed, sleep deprived or otherwise just suffering from the turn of events... except the Isabelles, who organized all this from the get-go.
      • Even Steve looks tired from the events.
      • Ryu shedding a Single Tear over not being able to have eaten his doughnut.
      • The Isabelles are pleased with Hero's revival and say that everyone should be feeling totally refreshed. The contrast between their joy of another revived fighter with everyone else's misery is worth a laugh.
    • In the bonus panels, it's revealed Nanu had Wendy arrested and pulled the plug on the princesses' Litten breeding, as it was illegal. As the girls wonder where are they supposed to get more fur, they spot a Sabrecat... cue the coin eyes.
  • Ridley has been telling Peach and Daisy to stop wasting time on their lingerie business so they could revive the other fighters, saying "money won't bring back [their] friends". After Ness and Lucas' ghosts tell them to go to the Onett hospital to revive them, they're told by a nurse that they need money to use their services. Ridley complains that he doesn't have money before realizing that's what the princesses were prepared for the whole time. Cue a defeated Ridley in between the revived kids in the last panel.
    • The idea of Ridley complaining about not having money. An infamous Space Pirate does not have any money. Though it's implied it is because he doesn't have any pockets.
    • Also, Lucas' body is labeled as "Other Ness".
    • The hospital reception desk has a button labeled "Press in case of Alien Invasion".
    • The smirks on Peach and Daisy's faces when they prove Ridley wrong.
    • Ridley (who is an Alien-Dragon Space Pirate) freaking out at the sight of Ness and Lucas' ghosts.
    • Also, Ridley still has a Pikmin stem from when he was revived.
    • How successful is Peach and Daisy's lingerie business exactly? The preview for the bonus panels shows Ness' mother of all people wearing underwear made out of sabrecat fur.
  • King K. Rool interrogates Spring Man to revive Min Min, but he refuses because he holds a grudge against her for "stealing" his place in the roster. K. Rool then offers Spring Man a spot in the roster if he tells them how to revive her. Apparently, there is a "cup of lifenoodles" which can revive Min Min, but it is said to be in a faraway land. Cue slurping noises, and it's revealed that Ness and Lucas had a bag full of cups of lifenoodles and were eating from them already. Later when Isabelle 1 shows her disapproval for K. Rool's method and inviting another fighter to the roster, it turns out the croc took advice from the murderer and gave Spring Man a fake "dickbutt" invitation.
    • Leaf asks K. Rool why their method of reviving Min Min had to involve being so cruel. K. Rool throws this back by telling Leaf that she forces her pets to fight for money, so she has no room to talk.
    • K. Rool calling Spring Man "Toothpaste Man", either as an insult or because he genuinely believes that's his name.
    • The fact that Ness and Lucas were in the room the whole time and nobody noticed them until they started slurping their noodles loud enough.
    • Assist Trophies.
    • The bonus panels: Min Min brands Richter's butt.
  • Using a homemade respawn point, the group revives the Inklings... but due to using too much power, they now look like Handsome Squidward.
Isabelle 1: Oh well... Good enough, right?
    • The Rant's reaction is even better: "Oh no they're hot!"
    • Even better, they look like that in the chart of dead/revived fighters, even after they return to normal by the end of "Waddle Dee's Big Adventure".
    • There's a picture of a butt hanging on the wall, which is from the previous comic's bonus panels.
    • The bonus panels has Kazuya trying to look up pictures of Nina Williams naked, only for Male Inkling to interrupt since he likes to travel through the paint in the walls. Isabelle 1 has to remind him he has to still respect everyone's privacy.
  • Sora takes the time to goof off making arts and crafts, and accidentally gets the idea to make a cutout 1-Up to resurrect Mr. Game and Watch. It... somehow works. Other masterpieces he and the other fighters make include:
    • Beards for Sora and Pikachu, complete with pipes to smoke from (while Sheik has a Mike Wazowski cutout over their Sheikah eye).
    • Pikachu becoming an Elekid while Sora makes a doll cutout. Also, Mega Man is dressed as Dr. Wily, Kazooie becomes a plane, and there's a picture of Roxas with Batman's cowl in the background.
    • Mickey Mouse ear headbands, complete with Pikachu wearing a full Mickey outfit. Dark Samus also has Metroids over her breasts.
    • Inkling has a paper of her original face over her handsome face while Pikachu dresses up as a thief.
    • Pikachu cosplays as Princess Peach, Kazuya has a drawing of a happy face over his face, and Piranha Plant has a Toad cutout.
    • Luminary having Vegeta's hair, Pikachu having a clown face, and the Pikmin resembling Among Us crewmates.
    • Pikachu wearing what looks like TMNT cosplay.
    • And when Mr. Game and Watch is resurrected, he has a top hat and cane to dance while Sora is cosplaying as Sephiroth and Incineroar wears a Sprigatito mask.
    • "I love video game fan comic logic"
    • In the bonus panels, Richter gets revenge on Min Min by letting a Creeper into the bathroom.
  • Bandana Waddle Dee summons NOVA to revive King Dedede and fix the Inklings, but Marx appears to steal the wish again. Waddle Dee promptly reveals that he borrowed some weapons from the Smash Mansion to deal with him. Marx's face really sells it.
    • At the beginning, Shulk offers a possible way to fix the Inklings, while Isabelle admits she kind of likes their handsome faces. They ultimately go back to normal one way or another, but remain in their handsome faces in the dead/revived fighters chart.
    • Here's a list of the weapons Bandana Waddle Dee brought to fend off Marx:
    • The fact that Bandana Waddle Dee uses weapons that only their wielders are worthy of using means that he can literally wield anything.
    • In the bonus panels, Kazuya shakes King Dedede's hand... only to get electrocuted thanks to Pichu in his sleeve. Isabelle chastises him and asks if they can save the prank war until after they revived everyone.
  • The next comic has a few moments.
    • For the preview on Twitter, Isabelle 2's dialogue is blacked out with the text "Woof".
    • Isabelle 1 reading up on Sonic lore.
    • The group takes a ride to the Lands Between to revive Meta Knight in a Dodo Airlines plane Kirby uses as a Mouthful Mode.
      • The fact that the plane's windows and floating gear are seen coming through Kirby's body implies he somehow fused with it, unlike other Mouthful Modes where he only covers the object.
    • After meeting one of the citizens, Dedede calls Isabelle and tells her that it might take longer than originally planned.
    • Zelda and Young Link decide to accompany Dedede and Kirby, which is likely why the preview for the bonus panel shows the other two Links being angry.
      • In the full panels, it's revealed the two are spying on the duo when White Mask Varre pities them for being single... cue them beating him down.
  • The April Fools comic Likely Dog.
  • After running into Godrick, the group respawns with a revived Meta Knight. King Dedede shakes Melina's hand as thanks... transporting the group to Roundtable Hold where Sephiroth is working on a retaliation plan with Patches. They promptly beat him up, making him retreat to the other Forgotten Land to hide out.
Sephiroth: (now sporting a black eye, to an Awoofy) Yeah I have no idea how that found me in that Forgotten Land, of all places. Hopefully they won't find me here.
    • Meta Knight's distressed face when Young Link, Zelda, and Kirby hug him.
    • The rage in everyone's faces except for Meta Knight when they find Sephiroth.
    • The group's encounter with Godrick ends with all of their deaths... except for, predictably, Kirby, who simply comes back to the group after a short while.
    • If you looks carefully, one of the weapons Godrick is holding... Is a handgun.
    • The bonus panels show Giratina getting along with the locals of the Forgotten Land.
  • When the gang arrives in Green Hill Zone, they discuss with Tails and Knuckles the best way to revive Sonic. Knuckles' suggestion is violently bashing Sonic's face in with a 1-Up Item Box to revive him, which gets shot down. Then Tails suggests that Peach kisses Sonic. Tails' smug face really seals the deal.
    • The fact that Tails and Knuckles aren't surprised because Sonic apparently "dies all the time". Make of that what you will.
    • Knuckles is a little too eager to hit Sonic with the monitor.
Knuckles: This is my preferred method.
    • Also, one of the Isabelles asks the other why Knuckles' voice is so "sexy".
    • After hearing the kiss option, Peach takes one look at Sonic's rotting corpse before asking, "How about plan C?"
    • Plan C is collecting 100 Rings. But, without Sonic's speed, it would take forever to gather that many. Luckily, Dedede is listening on the phone, and there just happens to be a blacksmith nearby...
Dedede: Did the red dog say 100 rings?
      Isabelle: He did, why?
(Cut to both gangs returning to the Smash House with an alive Sonic, while Peach wipes her brow in relief)
    • The bonus panel: both Isabelles are depressed because they tried to flirt with Knuckles, only for him to be distracted by Rouge wearing a Fur Bikini made of Incineroar's fur.
  • To resurrect Captain Falcon, Kazuya infiltrates an F-Zero match disguised as Captain Falcon, with assistance from an extra-caffeinated Sonic with a Bunny Hood (with Shulk having carved a hole for him to fit using Corrin's sword, so that he can accelerate the Falcon with his own legs a la The Flintstones) and the Monado on Speed mode. The combination nets at least 9999999999 points, well beyond the 10,000 needed to score an extra life. The blue blur conks out immediately afterwards.
    • Captain Falcon's corpse, initially carried by DK in a "CAUTION! FRAGILE" box, is stored in the Blue Falcon's trunk, and when he's resurrected he bursts out of it with a glorious "YES!"
    • The fact that Kazuya is still shirtless in his disguise, his left visor is tinted red, and the Piranha Plant sports a tiny Captain Falcon helmet.
    • All the bystanders watching Falcon's resurrection are, to quote a commentating Mr. Z, seemingly "weeping uncontrollably because of the sheer beauty they have just witnessed".
    • The preview for the bonus panel shows a "SURPRISE INVOLUNTARY FACE REVEAL!!"
      • The full panel shows that there’s another mask under Captain Falcon’s helmet. Also, once King Dedede takes it off, it cuts to him creating a section for the Captain in the Prank Wars chart. And his face is Falcon-Punched as well.
  • To resurrect the Mii Fighters, Mario, Rosalina, and Toon Link bring them to the Mii Channel, where the Wii remote cursor simply edits the Brawler and the Swordfighter's eyes in order to bring them back. Rosalina then realizes that the Gunner is missing... because she's still in the Sans costume, and thus Incineroar (who had mistaken her for Sans) and Ryu have brought her to Snowdin. Naturally, Papyrus isn't fooled.
Papyrus: I'M TELLING YOU, THIS ISN'T SANS. IT'S A MII GUNNER IN A SANS COSTUME!
Incineroar: Don't be ridiculous. Sans has been with us since September 9th, 2019! "Mii Gunner", hah! Sure! I think we'd remember something like a "Mii Gunner" existing!
    • As expected, only two thirds of the Mii Fighters' portrait is colored back in.
    • Also, one of the mailboxes (presumably Sans's) is stuffed with countless of Smash invitation letters.
    • And among the Miis? Aside from Barack Obama, there's also Peter Griffin, Garfield, Lonk from Pennsylvania, Chicken Little, seven Miis reenacting Loss, Mr. Bean, Reggie Fils-Aimé, Matt, Satoru Iwata, Waluigi, Darth Vader and Morbius.
    • The next part of the prank war in the bonus panels. With the Miis back, Sonic pranks Kazuya by presenting Mii Swordfighter wearing Heihachi's face and Shantae's outfit. As the hedgehog starts laughing, he's startled by Mii Brawler wearing a Tails hat and a maid dress.
  • After getting Mii Gunner revived, Incineroar and Ryu reveal they also brought about twenty Miis from the Mii Channel, much to Isabelle's frustation. Turns out it was part of a plan though: When Sephiroth and his Awoofy try to spy on the Smashers, they're greeted by a group of Doom Slayer Mii Gunners, making him flee in terror in one-winged angel form.
    • The Awoofy can only look at Sephiroth in confusion as they're running away.
    • Among the Doom Slayer Gunners is a Cuphead Gunner. There's also a Shantae Brawler and an Aerith Swordfighter.
    • The Mii Fighters' portrait is finally colored in fully except the portrait is modified to display the Sans costume and the Shantae costume in place of the former costumes for the Gunner and Brawler respectively while the middle remains the same.
    • There is an impostor among the Pikmin.
    • The caption below questions if they'll have enough spare beds for those Miis.
    • The bonus panel has Sora attempt to prank who he thinks is Gunner in the Sans costume as part of the prank war. Unfortunately for Sora, it's the real Sans. Cue Sora having a bad time while the real Gunner is in another room.
  • Meta Knight attempts to revive Pit by embarking on a long and perilous journey to Skyworld to retrieve the Drink of the Gods. Unfortunately, his efforts are nigh-useless, as by the time he gets back to the Smash House, the others have simply given Pit floor ice cream. After all, it gives him health.
    • The mere idea of creating a powerful healing item by dumping ice cream on the floor.
    • There's also the fact that Pandora apparently added graffiti on the drink's pedestal, mocking Dark Pit.
    • The bonus panel preview shows Samus introducing Pit to Sora, who looks similar to Pit.
    • The Gunners disguised as Doom Slayer are still around.
    • Pit's portrait shows him eating ice cream.
  • Fox gets the idea to use the Drink of the Gods to resurrect Dark Pit. It works... but as soon as Dark Pit notices that what brought him back is pink, he plays dead. So Fox goes over to The Roost to add coffee to the drink in order to taint it black to suit Dark Pit's taste.
    • Also, Fox seems to have caught the eye of Whitney. How will Apollo react to that?.
    • There's a whole set of Employee of the Month portraits in one of the walls, all of which have Brewster's face on them.
    • And both Pit and Sora hopping around in glee following Dark Pit's revival. Now the poor schmuck has to deal with having two of his rival around.
Dark Pit: That's right. I'm back. Although I would have rather stayed dead.
      Fox: You're very welcome.
    • Both Meta Knight and Fox look annoyed and unimpressed after they "finally" revive Dark Pit. The GabaLeth dub adds Meta Knight commenting "Now you know how I feel" after Fox's comment.
    • The bonus panels: Dark Samus is sad she can't be a mother figure like Samus is, but the moment she sees Dark Pit she adopts him and he gets smothered in her breasts to his protests.
      • It's also noted that Dark Pit has no idea who Dark Samus is since he has never seen her without her suit before. Simon for his part tells his new "son" to calm down.
    • The simple fact that Fox felt the need to fly all the way to an Animal Crossing town/island to get the coffee, instead of simply making it himself. (Granted, Brewster's coffee is stated to be among the best coffees in the world).
  • Kazuya, Ganondorf, and Greninja enter the Pac-Man game to gather 10,000 points to resurrect Pac-Man, with Luigi as their secret weapon to defeat any ghosts that come in their way. Unfortunately, they're kicked out because sucking up the ghosts is not allowed. As the fighters mope back at the Smash house, they have a "Eureka!" Moment when Pit's attempt to have Mega Man William Tell Sora results in Mega Man's Mega Buster shot ricocheting off the walls and hitting Pac-Man's corpse, scoring 10 points. Cue everyone chanting, "SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT!" as a confused Mega Man repeatedly shoots Pac-Man... and when Pac-Man is resurrected, he and Mega Man shrug at each other in confusion.
    • During the shot of everyone chanting "SHOOT!", you can see that since Greninja is chanting with them, its chants are just "JA!"
    • The fact that despite the Smashers having broken the rules of the games to exploit getting 1-UPs several times, they only get kicked out of one for defeating an enemy the unconventional way.
    • Also, Pac-Man is technically the 69th character colored in the fighter list.
    • The bonus panels have Daisy playing a drinking game using Pac-Man's taunt. Unfortunately, his taunt then shows a sprite of Heihachi right in front of Kazuya. Cue Kazuya breaking Pac-Man's arm.
  • Isabelle opens the door to find Solaire of Astoria, Isaac, Solgaleo, Solar Man, Amaterasu, and many others who claim to be members of the Acolytes of the Supreme Sun. They all resurrect the Wii Fit Trainer by saluting the sun.
    • Doc Louis is also at the door when the ASS members show up, but claims he isn't with them.
    • Sitting in Solar Man's solar generator is (the severed head of) Helios, oddly content for his current position.
    • After Wii Fit Trainer's resurrection, she salutes the sun with ASS outside as Isabelle deems them all weirdos.
    • Amaterasu, like any dog, sniffs Isabelle's butt.
    • Lara Croft makes a cameo, looking confused at the Smash Mansion as A.S.S. revives the Wii Fit Trainer. What's funny about this? She appears to be taking a pet velociraptor named Spike out on a walk.
    • A Sunflower can be seen sitting on the windowsill after Wii Fit Trainer's revival.
    • In the Bonus Panels, Wii Fit Trainer is nagging some of the other fighters so they can be healthy (getting Wario to exercise, chastising Dark Samus' yoga poses, and forbidding Pit from eating floor ice cream). This prompts the three of them to form a secret club to kill Wii Fit Trainer again.
  • After learning about the Rewind Spring from Pit and Dark Pit, Samus decides to bring Palutena there to revive her. Doc Louis also brings Little Mac along. When they get there, Palutena is brought back with no problems, but they discover that Doc Louis also took a dip in the spring, making him young and buff again. When scolding him for this, they forget about Little Mac. Samus pulls him out of the water and it is revealed that he has been de-aged into a little child.
    • Naturally, the picture of Little Mac in the chart has him as a little kid after he gets revived.
    • It's worth mentioning that the reason why Doc Louis brought Little Mac along was because he tried giving him his chocolate bar to revive him, only it didn't work "because he's straight-up dead".
    • The bonus panels show Samus getting teary-eyed over Pit and Dark Pit having their original mother figure back since she liked being that.
  • Having heard about the Rewind Spring from Awoofy, Sephiroth gives Hades a call and tells him to not allow any of the fighters to use it again. Fortunately, Shulk has a vision of it and devises a scheme where he pretends to be maintenance so that he can at least revive Snake with it. The excuse he came up with? He needs to make sure the spring is clean and safe to use by dumping a cardboard box (with Snake inside) and proclaiming it's filled with cleaners and sanitizers to purify it. It works, causing the fighters to go buck wild once Snake is revived.
  • Alm and Celica retrieve the Aum Staff to resurrect the Fire Emblem fighters. Since it can only be used by a princess, Incineroar immediately has Peach use it in the hopes of easily resurrecting all the Fire Emblem fighters, just as Isabelle 1 warns that the staff has a durability of 1. So the staff only brings back Marth before breaking.
    • The best part: Celica is from Fire Emblem Gaiden, one of the few Fire Emblem games that lack weapon durability, so she has no idea about that mechanic.
Celica: Wait, what? What the hell is weapon durability?!
    • The fact that there are so many anime sword fighters, Incineroar immediately thought Alm and Celica were among them and somehow were brought back to life without realizing it.
    • The reason why Isabelle 1 has been putting off reviving any Fire Emblem characters is because of how complicated the lore is. Given how Isabelle 2 completely lost her patience with the Xenoblade Chronicles lore, she is right to be worried.
    • The book Isabelle 1 is reading has some pretty sus information.
    • The bonus panels reveal Snake is still stuck in the underworld, and flirting with both Medusa and Amazon Pandora.
  • Status Report Part 1, despite being a Breather Episode, has a few moments.
    • Isabelle 1 is angry at Incineroar for ruining their chance to revive all of the Fire Emblem characters at once.
    • Due to having been dead for so long, Marth is back to only speaking in Japanese and Kazuya serves as his translator, with Marth saying "why don't you guys just learn Japanese?".
    • They acknowledge that Snake is still stuck in the Underworld and that Little Mac is still a toddler (who is picking his nose), to whom Samus surprisingly doesn't want to revert back to his normal self. Must be her maternal instincts kicking off again.
    • Both Isabelles misheard Celica pronounce Valentia and end up saying Venezia and Virginia.
      • Later, just before Rex's party arrives to inform the Smashers that Rex is sick and to ask them if there's something wrong with Pyra/Mythra, Isabelle 1 misnames Valentia as Valeria.
      • Even later, the comic description in "Smash Support" calls Valentina "Verona".
    • Whatever's happening with Byleth's body was enough of a shock for Hero, usually a Silent Protagonist, to speak up about it.
    • Apparently, the Smash House has a picture of Glover in the house as well.
    • The bonus panels has Bayonetta use Madam Butterfly to get snacks.
  • In a flashback to "Dinner Despair", Byleth dies to Sephiroth and awakens to Sothis berating her for drinking an Obviously Evil villain's champagne. Sothis points out she can use Divine Pulse to stop Sephiroth from poisoning Smash House, but Byleth, thinking that Sephiroth might have a backup plan, decides to stay hidden and fake being dead while using a decoy dummy.
  • Sweet Home Nohr follows up on Wii Fit Trainer, Captain Falcon, and Pac-Man going to Nohr to learn how to revive Corrin. They are greeted by his adoptive sister Camilla, whose large bust unnerves them.
    • When Wii Fit Trainer notices Benny and Elise getting romantic with one another, she asks if it is legal, to which Camilla responds that anything is legal in Nohr and states that Corrin is her husband as well. When it cuts back to the mansion, the three are looking very pale as Isabelle states "what do you mean, you're done?".
    • The comic's description states that the trio's portraits should have been changed back to be black and white, indicating that they are dead inside.
    • The Instagram caption downright adds to the title the next line of "Sweet Home Alabama" ("...where the skies are so purple").
    • The childish "Hoshidans begone!" paper sign on the front door of the castle.
    • As per game rules, only Butlers and Maids can use Bifröst staff. So we get an image of Mii Gunner with Sans' mask wearing a maid costume using one of the staffs to revive Corrin.
    • In the GabaLeth dub, they cut out Elise and Benny's scene because they found that too weird for their tastes.
    • The bonus panels has Corrin trying skinship on Dark Samus... and Simon happens to see it. Cue the chase scene.
  • A Friendly Awakening has Gunner (still in the maid Sans costume) revive Chrom, who is asked if he knows a way to revive Robin. Chrom responds that they should revive him like the last time he died. Cut to several of the fighters in a field surrounding Robin's body. Incineroar then comes with Chrom's sister Lissa (who didn't come willingly) to complete the ritual, and Robin is then revived through The Power of Friendship.
    • Isabelle 2 accidentally calling Gunner "Sans" for a moment.
    • The Isabelles are both skeptical of the method to revive Robin, with Isabelle 1 stating they might have made a mistake.
    • As the fighters rejoice over Robin's resurrection, Lissa angrily states that they could have just asked her to come along instead of kidnapping her.
    • Waluigi, a Rabbid, and a Crewmate are among the characters surrounding Robin's body to revive him.
    • There is a chart on the wall detailing who is on baby Little Mac duty. For some reason, Wario is the one who takes care of him on Saturdays. Unsurprisingly enough, Samus is the one who spends the most time with him.
    • The bonus panels reveal that Tharja personally tracked Sephiroth down when she learned Robin was dead.
  • Just as Isabelle and Incineroar set off to Valentia to resurrect the remaining Fire Emblem fighters, Nia, Tora, and Zeke show up with Rex on the brink of death, asking if something happened to Pyra & Mythra, after being explained the situation, they point out that the Aegis, as a Blade, can't be killed by poison and was simply knocked unconscious, as otherwise Rex would be dead too, and while the party normally auto-heals after a battle, the Aegis wasn't able because of the abundance of fighters that could be classified as monsters in the Smash Mansion... much to Bowser's annoyance.
    • To heal Rex and the Aegis, all the party has to do is to fill the party gauge (by "beating the shite out of someone", as Nia puts it)... and Sandbag is up to the task. Everyone is surprised that Sandbag can talk, but he points out that they never bothered to ask. One beating later, and they bring Rex and the Aegis back.
    • When Rex's party points out the abundance of monsters in the smash house, a butterfly happens to be around. It may be a reference to Shulk's reveal trailer for Smash 4 in which Bowser watches a butterfly go by before being attacked by Shulk (probably because he mistakes him for a monster).
    • The finale for the lingerie business sub arc in the bonus panels: Peach and Daisy reveal they stopped business because they realized their methods of acquiring fur was wrong, plus they ran out of lingerie models to help them. Once they hear Pyra and Mythra have been revived though, they promptly recruit the Aegis to be the models of their final collection. Isabelle 2's not amused, to say the least.
  • Now at Valentia, Isabelle and Ken enter a dungeon to find Revival Springs and resurrect Lucina, Roy, and Ike while Alm, Celica, Incineroar, and Kazuya defeat enemies... raising their Affinity Bond. The sheer Ho Yay between Incineroar and Kazuya is so strong that by the time all three are back, Alm and Celica are making out near a tree while the two hunks are hugging it out and tearfully declaring their broship for each other.
Incineroar: I fucking love you, man.
Kazuya: I love you too. You're like a brother to me, muscular cat.
Incineroar: Let's be best friends forever, okay?
  • Cat Surprise
    • Pyra is surprised that Morgana is a talking cat. Incineroar? Not so much.
    • After Joker is revived and the Sephiroth Situation is explained:
Joker: Hmm... An evil, corrupt adult, ruining other people's lives with his evil ways? Sounds like someone... (puts on mask) ...needs his heart changed.
Incineroar: (looking at the inexplicably red background) Why do I hear acid jazz all of a sudden?
    • In the bonus panels, Joker beats Sora and Futaba at a video game, and he celebrates by running around the couch.
  • Final Revival
    • As Tifa and Barret are minding their own business, Ike, Kazooie and Isabelle just casually drop Cloud's corpse on the counter bar, as well as explaining the reasoning for it, like it's no big deal.
    • When Tifa mentions a Phoenix Down, Ike thinks she's talking about Phoenix Wright.
    • What do they do to bring Cloud back? They need a big Phoenix feather, because the size varies the potential of it. Barret at first questions if they could even find such a bird, but plucks a feather from Kazooie. It works. Apparently, Kazooie is a Phoenix in the world of Final Fantasy.
    • Cloud is revived, and immediately finishes his sentence before he died while talking to Sephiroth, and he is incredibly pissed. Barret wonders why, Isabelle tells him to wait until they get home.
    • Cloud begins to rub it in everyone's faces that Sephiroth was never to be trusted, including a Pikmin. It is justified, though, as everyone was dismissing his as being paranoid and refused to listen to him until it was too late.
    • The fact that it was insinuated that they waited to revive Cloud last because everyone knew this would happen, so they opted not to have him do this the entire time.
    • There is an Italian flag on the drink Kazooie is drinking, a reference to that Italian Senate incident with Tifa in it.
  • Endgame Enemies
  • A Reason For Treason
  • On Sephiroth’s Left
    • The Metaverse uniforms for the Smash Fighters (provided by Pyra since they're not Persona Users, according to last comic's bonus panels): Cloud wears a fluffy cape that resembles a cloud, Tifa is dressed like Jesse, Pyra/Mythra wears a half and half outfit, and Squirtle wears some familiar shades.
    • Sephiroth's Shadows are all topless, with Pyra/Mythra complaining that they have a child with them and Tifa covering said "child's" eyes. There was also a sign in front of the museum hinting at this dress code.
      • Joker and Morgana point out that they can rip off the masks and beat them up. The Shadow points out that they can also "recruit th-" though Cloud sticks with the original method.
    • In the army of game characters that Byleth brings to counter the villain army, there seems to be Goku.
      • A Rabbid.
      • Kris is also part of the army of heroes, with a comically literal long face.
      • Victims of Sephiroth's "Dickbutt" prank such as Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Shantae and Phoenix Wright appear as part of Byleth's army, with the possible implication that they joined to get revenge on Sephiroth.
    • The bonus panels: Pyra decides she can't take the museum tour with such inappropriate looking shadows and takes the mask off a female one... who turns into Mara, which upsets her even more. The post adds that yes, this is a real enemy in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise.
  • The Ultimate Brawl/Melee
    • Donald has a gun.
    • Rabbid vs. Rabbid.
    • During the fight, Isabelle warns everybody not to kill or severely harm Sephiroth due to Joker's gang being in his mind. Cue Sans jumping in and blasting him in the face. While this doesn't kill Sephiroth, it does give the Phantom Thieves a moment of motion sickness (and makes them land where the treasure is).
  • You Win Some, You Lose Some
  • Secret Weapon
    • In the real world, Sephiroth becomes so desperate that he opens a package given to him by Hades. Unfortunately for him, said package turns out to contain Snake instead, who immediately restrains him by the neck.
    • Turns out Meta Knight never actually betrayed the group. The Meta Knight that was with Sephiroth was Kirby in disguise who simply makes his entrance known with a simple "Poyo", not that it stops Sephiroth from looking like he pissed himself.
      • This reveal makes Meta Knight flipping everyone off earlier on even funnier as this means it was Kirby (who is a baby) that actually flipped everyone off.
      • The sight of Wario, Roy, Toon Link and an unmasked Meta Knight happily waving at Sephiroth once he realizes he fell for their trap.
      • Following this reveal, the cast page has Meta Knight's portrait circled green and with the word "sike".
    • The bonus panels show Chrom giving out his number to several female and male members of the hero army (remember, Chrom is already married). Lucina is not amused.
  • When Kirby hits Sephiroth with the friend heart, he basically smacks him in the face.
  • After-Battle Dip
  • Last Plane Home
    • The Pikmin (and Ridley, as he's technically part Pikmin now) collected the corpses of the monsters who fell in the battle to make more Pikmin. Isabelle 2 questions how the Pikmin series is even rated "E for everyone."
    • Since it takes time for a change of heart to fully take place, Sephiroth is tied up and forced to help with gardening. Everyone agreed that it wasn't right to let him off scot-free and let Cloud punch him in the face, much to his satisfaction.
    • Little Mac is reverted back to an adult thanks to Dialga's power, but it apparently took a while to convince a chagrined Samus he wasn't "better off as a baby."
    • Apparently, Sephiroth's Treasure, which took the form of a painting in his palace, manifested in the real world as a shampoo bottle.
    • Byleth getting emotional as she's rewarded her GOAT medal for helping the Smashers.
      • Incineroar has a CAT medal instead, wearing it around his waist like a title belt.
      • And if you look closely, Piranha Plant is wearing a tie.
    • Doubles as Heartwarming, but when it was time for Isabelle 2 to go back to Buttville Island, the Isabelles decided to say goodbye in a "very professional manner." As she says this, the panel shows both Isabelles bawling their eyes out while hugging each other.
      • It should be said that the rest of the Smashers looked on in sorrow as they watched the goodbye, but Villager wasn't.
    The Paldea Misadventures
  • With everything settled, Incineroar and Kazuya plan to take a vacation. They're not enthusiastic about the others' destination suggestions though for different reasons: Bionis because of the dangers there, space due to lack of oxygen... and Nohr because they don't want to see Corrin making out with his sister Camilla.
    • Kazuya then brings up Paldea. Cue the two of them and a still tied up Sephiroth at Paldea's border, in Pokémon trainer suits.
      Incineroar: It's perfect.
    • It's made more funny by the fact Incineroar is a Pokémon himself. Doubles as a Call-Back to when he tried catching replacement Pokémon in Kalos. (And according to the Fridge page, to the Galar Border Patrol comics, since there was a possibility that Incineroar was not in the Paldean Pokédex, making him Crazy-Prepared.)
    • The bonus panel reveals Samus is still acting motherly to Little Mac, much to the latter's annoyance. He reluctantly eats a Snicker bar that she had packed for him as well. Also, Sonic and Peach find it hilarious.
  • "Starter Struggle" has Incineroar wanting Fuecoco as a starter (since he's a Fire-type himself), but Kazuya also wants Fuecoco, as it matched his passion for combat and revenge. But Sephiroth also wants Fuecoco since its cheerful nature will lift his spirits. Professor Sada sees the three argue, and convinces them to have a battle to see who gets Fuecoco, which they all accept. Then the next panel shows them all actually fighting like Pokémon while the starters cheer them on.
Professor Sada: Okay, not what I meant, guys.
    • It should be noted that the reason Professor Sada is there in the first place is because the author hadn't actually played Scarlet and Violet yet, so he didn't know that the professor doesn't give the player their starter in this game.
    • The bonus panels have Peach run up to Incineroar and the others to give them their toothbrushes, only to notice that Professor Sada's outfit is made out of Pokémon fur. She then calls up Daisy to let her know that someone is stealing the idea of their lingerie business. Said someone is Rosalina, who started her own Pokémon fur business some time after Peach and Daisy ended theirs.
  • "Bug-Type Pokémon":
  • After Kazuya claims Koraidon as his mount, Incineroar gets his own Rideable Pokémon... by ambushing a trainer who had Miraidon.
Incineroar: Guys look, I found one as well! Totally alone, in the wild. What are the odds huh?
  • Back at home, the Smash Bros are setting up decorations for Christmas, with Rosalina and Luma over by the Christmas tree...and Piranha Plant dressing up as another tree.
    • Byleth is conducting rehearsals and admits that it's not going great, considering one of the singers is Jigglypuff...
    • Isabelle recruits Thor to be their Santa when the guy was fighting Kratos. She just grabs Mjolnir and pulls it away as she drags Thor back, also inviting Kratos to come as well. The two gods are understandably confused by this turn of events.
    • The bonus panels have Bayonetta and Dark Samus invite Simon into their room for...a Bible reading. All while the two women are dressed in provocative Christmas outfits. Simon asks if Dark Samus is cold in hers.
  • The Christmas 2022 comic starts with Thor being a Santa (and Dedede glaring enviously at him).
    • While Incineroar, Kazuya and Sephiroth are discussing what they should do, a Maushold is watching them, the little one gets kicked away by Sonic when he arrives.
    • Cloud and Sephiroth are both looking daggers at each other when the latter (plus Kazuya and Incineroar) arrive.
      • Some of the Paldea Pokémon join the party as well. Notably, Quaxly and Squirtle are sizing each other up.
    • Jin's nervous expression upon seeing Kazuya at the party.
    • The caroling manages to go smoothly, thanks to the carolers taping Jigglypuff's mouth shut, much to her chagrin.
    • Just the sight of Crash Bandicoot talking normally.
    • The bonus comic has Chrom mad nobody called him back, and he decides to go to Paldea and hang with a buff female NPC.
  • Double Triple Finish:
    • Incineroar, Kazuya, and Sephiroth fight Dondozo first at Sephiroth's insistence, even though Incineroar points out that their starters haven't even evolved yet. Turns out, Sephiroth borrowed Leaf's Pokémon as backup.
    • The Tandemauses from Christmas are still around. And they have multiplied like rabbits (or mice in this case).
    • "Before you ask how they were able to swim: they ate a Bombirdier earlier without knowing it was the titan."
    • The bonus comic has some other Smashers (consisting of Luigi, Daisy, Kirby, Sora, and Duck Hunt) go to Paldea as well for vacation via the open portals. Unfortunately, a Maushold presses a button on the portal gun, causing the portal in Paldea to disappear, leaving that group trapped in Paldea. Isabelle's reaction just sells it.
  • "Poco Path Prison:
    • With the group stranded in Paldea, Luigi suggests they should have fun as trainers and let the Duck Hunt Dog be their Pokémon. He promptly sends it against a Lechonk... who brutally mauls it and gets them all arrested for animal cruelty.
    • The Duck is visibly shooting daggers at the dog for landing them all in jail.
    • When Daisy points out she can't be a trainer in her current attire, Luigi says she can claim to be in the Swimmer class. Paldea is the first region in the main series to not have Swimmer trainers.
    • "Remember: dog fighting =/= Pokémon battling."
    • The first few words of a certain Vaporeon copypasta can be seen on the prison wall.
    • The bonus comic reveals that Dark Samus and Bayonetta have decided to exterminate the Mauses in the Smash House and want Simon to join them. Simon thinks they're overreacting... until he discovers one of the Pokémon had destroyed one of his bibles.
  • With all the fighters now in Paldea, Isabelle is losing her cool. Which is only made worse when Alear summons the Fire Emblem fighters to Elyos when they were relaxing.
Little Mac: (carrying a passed-out Isabelle) Bro, can you stop doing that? It’s not good for our dog.
  • In Crazy Rich Felines, the trio have mercilessly defeated a young trainer's Happiny, giving them enough EXP for their Pokémon to evolve. As the trainer admits defeat, Incineroar goes to collect their winnings, and the trainer sheepishly gives him the money. Kazuya's Floragato shows off its amulet coin, meaning the three forced a young trainer to pay double instead as she leaves in a crying mess. Keep in mind that the three have done bad things in the past, such as knocking a kid off his Miraidon.
    • The end reveals that a bunch of people that the trio have beaten previously are planning on joining Team Star, including the trainer who lost to them at the start of the comic and the boy Incineroar dropkicked to get Miraidon.
    • The bonus panels has Incineroar angrily tweeting the fans of Floragato's bipedal form since everyone hated him when he was revealed to be bipedal.
  • In Bread Friends Forever, Sonic is still looking for his fellow fighters who got trapped. After an encounter with a Klawf, he gets a Quick Ball thrown at his head by Arven who thought he was a Pokémon. After arguing back and forth, Sonic reveals that he likes spicy foods, which gets Arven's attention. They are later seen having chili dogs with the rest of Arven's team.
    • Also, Sonic is rescued from the Klawf by Arven's Toedscruel. The Klawf walks away with a thought bubble of the Toedscruel dressed as a ninja. Sonic also calls it "Mushroom Man" at first, not knowing what it is.
    • In the bonus panels, Daisy's group is desperate for food when they see the Maushold in there with them...
  • Stomping Tantrum has Sonic and Arven team up to help each other on their respective missions. Arven wants to go find some Herba Mystica to help heal his Mabosstiff. However, Sonic races off before Arven can finish and returns with the herbs mere seconds later, to Arven's delight.
    Sonic: AYYYY!
  • Maus Haus reveals why Sora didn't escape the prison like Terra did with his Keyblade: they somehow confiscated his.
    • With the Portal Gun destroyed, Daisy calls Isabelle and asks her if she can send an uber to pick her and the others up. Isabelle however tells her and her group to stay in Paldea. The call then abruptly ends after Peach screams into the phone, telling Daisy not to listen to Isabelle. While Daisy doesn't question it, we see that the Mauses have taken over the Smash House and are holding the other fighters hostage.
      • Pikachu and Pichu are caged as "inferior Mauses".
      • Falco being tied to a spit to be roasted.
      • One of the Mauses has just hit Peach on the head with a pint-sized baseball bat for attempting to alert Daisy and the others about what was going on.
      • Unlike everyone else, Greninja seems more annoyed than terrified with the situation.
      • The Mauses paint several Graffiti on the walls of the house, with one of them being a drawing of Ms. Mowz.
      • Villager is one of the few that aren't tied up or dressed up, though it seems like he willingly joined the Mauses.
    • Assumably, Sonic took at least 30 minutes to run to Paldea and "walked" around quickly, so consider how quickly the Mauses multiplied and took over.
  • Two-Gyms-with-One-Olive Has Incineroar and company take on the Cortondo gym. They have Kazuya chuck the olive for the gym challenge into the goal, but he overshoots. They get the badge anyways even though they technically failed the challenge.
    • Meanwhile, Daisy's group disguises themselves in order to hide from the law and take on the Cascarrafa gym with a Rockruff they found. Unfortunetly, they are in over their head due to the higher levels of the leader's Pokemon.
Luigi: How where we supposed to know we weren't strong enough for him yet?! Damn this open world!
    • Then the olive from earlier smacks the leader's Crabominable and the group does not get the badge, causing an argument between the gym's receptionist and Daisy.
Daisy: What do you mean this doesn't count?! Haven't you seen that one episode with Pikachu and Onyx?
Receptionist: This is nothing like that!
Daisy: This is exactly like that!
    • Also, Kirby as Tinkatink.
  • The next comic is A Comic About Larry.
    • The Smasher's antics are mostly regulated to funny background events due to the comic focusing mainly on Larry.
    • In place of using their actual Pokémon, they just have Kirby (disguised as a Tinkatink, remember?) battle his Dundunsparce instead (most likely due to Larry being over their own mon's levels).
    • The Smashers celebrate at the restaurant with alcohol while Larry quietly sips his tea (with him describing getting a cup of tea as "adventurous").
    • Since Sephiroth doesn't have a legendary, he has been using a normal Cyclizar and has a Squawkabilly carry it when he needs to glide like the others.
    • From the bonus panel: the Mauses have commandeered Dark Samus' suit.
      • A moment of realization why the Mauses took over the Smash House is probably them retaliating for Simon, Bayonetta and Dark Samus' Maus hunting, one could guess the Mauses are taking this too seriously.
  • Pokemontage
    • Daisy lampshading the fact that a montage is coming up. Said montage contains their own version of Gotta Catch ‘Em All. The GabaLeth dub even has Luigi as the one singing.
    • Brassius flirting with Daisy while a jealous Luigi looks on. Meanwhile Crocalor is attempting to eat the grass gym badge while Floragato is attempting to stop it.
    • For the Alfornada gym challenge, Daisy and Sephiroth are trying to get Kazuya to smile for it much to Tulip's amusement.
      • It's worth noting that Daisy has a strained, angry looking smile on her face, while Sephiroth has a big even more strained smile on his (considering that he was used to giving evil smiles, it makes sense).
    • For the Glaseado Mountain gym battle, they just have Incineroar battle, while their other Pokemon (plus Duck Hunt and Kirby) go sled riding on Koraidion.
    • Luigi has a rap battle against Ryme (with a little help from PaRappa).
    • After seven gyms conquered, Incineroar praises the group's work and says he's glad there's no drama among them... when Floragato evolves into Meowscarda. He promptly Googles if it's morally acceptable to have feelings for your friend's Pokemon.
    • Also, Sora and Sonic have mysteriously disappeared.
  • Twitching Streamer: Iono is holding a livestream around Levincia when she runs into Sora, who has been vibing around the area on vacation and has called Mickey, Donald, and Goofy to pick him up. She is absolutely floored when she recognizes Sora, is even more stunned when she realizes who his friends are... and is flabbergasted when she realizes he's got Arceus on his team. A few days later, Daisy finally realizes that the group is missing someone as Sephiroth acquires the Levincia Gym badge for free.
Iono: It's Mickey fuckin' Mouse. On my stream. Brooo this shit is gonna do insane numbers fr. Holy shit I gotta keep it together. Stay calm Iono. They're like mad famous, chat is gonna clip the fuck outta this, but they're still just people. Well, talking animals more like, but ya get the point. They're not sacred entities or anythin'. Gotta stay profesh.
    • Arceus casually greeting Iono as he appears on stream. Everyone but Donald with their hands in their pockets does not help.
    • The principal being sneaky.note
    • Chrom and his buff girlfriend are sleeping there too. Once again, remember that Chrom is already married.
  • Mechavroom: Incineroar's group finds a closed Team Star base and a flyer that speaks about gathering at the Ruchbah base to fight an evil terrorizing Paldea which seems to cut off midway. As the group arrives at Ruchbah, Team Star shows up in a giant mech powered by Revavrooms to confront them. Cue Incineroar unfolding the flyer and finding out he's the forementioned evil.
    • Imagine how Ortega, Eri, Mela and Atticus feel being swung around in order to move the Mechavroom.
    • Ortega's part of the mech holding his wand.
    • Daisy and Luigi ride another Cyclizar. Kirby probably ate another Cyclizar.
    • Whether Team Star has never seen an Incineroar before or Incineroar's trainer disguise works so well that they can't tell with just the face, that isn't stopping them from exacting justice for the victims.
  • Gigantaroar:
    • Penny listing the sins that Incineroar has committed on Paldea, cue the kid who he dropkicked before to come out of the side of Ortega's cockpit to remind them about his Miraidon.
    • Among Penny's control room, there are buttons for "Eject", "Self-Destruct", and "Coffee".
    • Among the items that don't provide any help for their upcoming battle except for the Dynamax Band that Isabelle gave them (stored in a bag that was stored in Kirby's stomach):
      • A Z-Ring with some Z-Crystals of the type that aren't effective against Mechavroom
      • Mega stones that they don't have any Pokémon to Mega evolve nor the Key stone to allow it in the first place.
      • A Shiny charm.
      • Event items such as Old Sea Map, Prison Bottle and Azure Flute.
      • A G.S. ball and Master ball, which the former isn't usable and the latter has no use against caught Pokémon.
    • It seems Mechavroom is designed to one-hit KO enemies, just by using one move with their signature team motto on the sole of the mech, which would probably be the last thing they see before being blacked out.
      Penny: Mechavroom uses Stomp!
  • In "Big Boy Battle", everyone is using Gogoat to pull Gigantamax Incineroar down Gulliver's Travels-style... except for a Chansey not riding one. Also, Incineroar lands on one person in the same panel.
    • The bonus panels have Sora's group meet a couple of Mauses who Mickey greets with friendliness. Not knowing that they took a picture of his credit card and committed credit card fraud with it.
  • "Best Friends Foreverstone". When Kazuya reveals that the only thing they have left to do is the Elite Four, Nemona pops up to point out that their team isn't strong enough. Penny's confusion of her presence is notable (since she hasn't appeared in the comic since the beginning of the arc).
    • The reason they'd be stomped by the Elite Four is because Meowscarada is their only fully evolved Pokemon...until Kazuya points out that the other two starters are Level 70. Penny exclaims that they should have leveled up 40 levels ago.
    • It turns out that both starters are holding Everstones. Luigi assumed they were "Best Friends Forever-Stones". Also, a Slaking in the background is doing the Patterson-Gimlin film Sasqutch pose for whatever reason.
    • Sephiroth goes into a big speech about how they won't judge Crocalor and Quaxwell for not evolving, saying the Pokemon would probably want to stay unevolved. Kazuya's argument is simpler.
Sephiroth: Now hold on just a minute! Taking those stones from them won't change a thing! Being a Pokémon trainer isn't about having Pokémon with the highest base stats, it's about forming a strong bond with your Pokémon companions, regardless of their size, form or type! If you truly love your Pokémon and train them with compassion and empathy, the bond you form with them will make them unbeatable! Quaxwell and Crocalor know this. They don't even want to evolve because they know we love them the way they are!
Kazuya: (straight-faced as usual) Grass cat, use Thief.
    • And the translation of the fully evolved starters' reactions to their evolutions, courtesy of Incineroar, confirming they wanted this.
Quaquaval: I thought they'd never take those stupid stones from us.
      Skeledirge: Nice ass, bro.
    • In the bonus panels, Shulk has a vision that the Mauses' will be defeated, but he and Rex will now look like their older selves. He's reasonably confused at this.
  • "Speech Check":
    • Incineroar thinks there's nothing they're unprepared for at the Elite Four, only to be blindsided by the interview section.
    • Not making the same mistake with Kofu's Gym, Luigi is buying a few revives.
    • "foongus amoongus"
    • Rika informs the group only one can do the interview and she suggests they choose someone intelligent, charismatic, knowledgeable, and well-spoken. All the fighters turn their heads to Sephiroth. The following panel cuts to Rika beginning the interview and explaining how one wrong decision would screw them over… and the one after that shows Kirby in the interviewee's chair.
    • How Kirby manages to ace the interview with zero effort whatsoever:
Rika: Okay, I'd like to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind. Please think carefully, as you may automatically fail the interview depending on your answers. Let's begin. How did you get here today?
      (cut to Kirby)
      Kirby: Hiii!
Rika: (listening with intent) …I see.
    • In the bonus panels, Incineroar tries to talk with Meowscarda about their relationship, only for them to turn out to be a transformed Ditto who tries to force itself onto him.
Incineroar: GOD I hate those eternally thirsty weirdoes.
  • "God Champion":
    • It's revealed Sora became the new Champion since being left behind. And since the others forgot about him, he's not going to let them win instantly and sics Arceus on them.
    • The irony of Sonic saying that the party can't beat God, since he did kill a god before.
    • Daisy thinks they still have a chance against God if they believe in the power of magic, dance, and song. Arceus quickly proves her otherwise.
    • When Sephiroth reveals he still had Giratina all this time, Incineroar promptly comments he should've used it when they were fighting Team Star earlier.
    • "Everyone forgot about Giratina (including me 2 minutes before starting to work on this comic)"
    • The bonus panels reveal Snake pulled a Shawshank Redemption on the Mauses.
  • "Death (Averted) From Above":
    • Professor Sada plans to give up her life to protect a Koraidon...then a mountain explodes and the Smash Bros and their Pokemon are falling towards them.
      Sada: What the-
      • Sephiroth also has his one wing out. It doesn't help with the fall.
  • "Cat Quest":
    • Incineroar thinks there's no reason to go home just yet, only to be proven wrong when Piranha Plant arrives.
    • "I love cliffhangers."
    • In the bonus panels, Sonic asks Ann and Morgana for help, but the latter refuses due to being called a cat. He quickly changes his tune, however, when Ann decides to help in her Phantom Thief outfit.
Morgana: I need to stop being such a simp.
  • In the bonus panels for "Maushold Siege", Samus tells Dark Samus to not be so materialistic over losing her Power Suit, only to be offended when she discovers the Mauses had turned her suit into a makeshift Maus statue.
  • "Smash Bros in Arms":
    • Sephiroth giving Cloud a big hug much to the latter's confusion.
    • Incineroar noticing that Meowscarada and Feral Fangs (Paradox!Incineroar) are getting a bit too cozy with each other.
    • Everything is back to normal and the group's glad there's no causalities... only to discover Link's missing his right arm, which one Maushold took as a memento of their short-lived conquest.
    • "The stuff your Pokédex doesn’t tell you: Maushold are known to take home souvenirs after fighting their battles."
     Lost in the Kingdom
  • "Source of the Wrong Arm":
    • Link is still screaming as the Zelda crew and Pikachu are rushing to Hyrule Castle. Unfortunately, this wakes up Tears!Ganondorf who ends up bringing the castle into the sky, but not before saying this:
Tears!Ganondorf: What is that godawful noise?! Can't a guy just be sealed away in peace anymore?!
    • Link and Pikachu being introduced to Rauru, Source of the Right Arm...and also the Left. So Pikachu now has a human-sized left arm for some reason.
    • So why didn't they just go back to the Shrine of Resurrection to heal him. Well first off it takes too long. Secondly the previous Link that died in EGMBSSNKHBEB arc is probably still in there so they'll have to use Dialga to place him in there right after the first awakens and time jump another 100 years to retrieve him, which is more or less complicated. And finally he isn't dead...Unless an Axe-cident happens.
    • The bonus panels reveal Villager has been exiled for seemingly working with the Mauses until he learns to behave. The final shot reveals he's now camping in Hyrule, and the other monsters are very scared of him.
  • Ultrahandy has Rauru witness Link and Pikachu's creativity with their new powers. Rauru tells them he's impressed with what they built but points out they lack the necessary power to make it work. Pikachu will be the judge of that. Even better is Rauru's reaction:
Rauru: Okay, the rat has electric powers. Of course.
    • On the the other side of Hyrule, Ganondorf is being surrounded by a bunch of villagers (Not the Smash one) who believes he's The Ganondorf while only in his underpants. He tries to prove that he's only a Mean Character, Nice Actor by saying he can't kill someone instantly by pointing at them like the Ganondorf they know. However, the rock from earlier comes down on the one he's pointing at.
    • Ganondorf discovers the Stamina Gauge.
    • The fact that the villagers chase after him even while under the impression that they could get wiped out with a single point.
    • The bonus panels reveal the Mauses were running a drug empire from the basement, Samus congratulates Mario for being responsible and reported it. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Daisy however have already used the drugs and are experiencing their effects, where they see themselves as anthropomorphic elephants.
      • Samus sentences are somewhat hypocritical if you remember what she used Dialga for when she caught it.
  • The bonus panels for "Lynel Loss" has Byleth witness Feral Fangs and Meowscarda making eggs to her complete horror, prompting her to ask Isabelle to ban Pokemon from coming near tables when sandwiches are being made.
  • The bonus panels for "The Lefthanded Lunrelin Liberator" has Wolf wondering if Villager is okay out in the wild... cut to him being revealed to be the leader of a pack of minions.
  • (Re)Call Home
    • The comic starts with Kratos having a face full of log.
      • The Microsoft house's projectile has a Korok. Also, one point of their meeting is to clarify that Forza is a character, not a vehicle.
      • Ethan Winter's face is still not revealed.
    • All of the projectiles was a result of Link and Pikachu trying to find the right angle so they can visit the Smash House any time. When Nathan Drake demands to know who's going to pay for the damages, Pikachu recalls his glider back to Hyrule, revealing a flat Kirby where he landed. Also notable in that this is the first time in the entire comic where Kirby gets a full-on moment as a Butt-Monkey in a cast typically full of them.
    • Also, Lucario (who hasn't said much in the comic) got the entire explanation from a single "Pi" from Pikachu.
    • The caption below the comic suggests that Isabelle makes the money by growing turnips.
    • The bonus comic has Mario recruit the Mushroom Kingdom girls to raise money for repairs through indecent methods... as in an OnlyFans page of the girls holding the fan item.
Peach: You know, I have never understood why people pay for this.
  • "Disguised in The Depths""
  • Terrifyingly Trendy Teens:
    • Barret has a fishing pole attachment to his arm.
    • When Barret talks about how he feels distant from his daughter, with the other fathers he's fishing with showing sympathy, Chrom claims that he's still connected with Lucina. Joel tells him to go see what she's doing right now. Chrom does and to his horror, Lucina's pretending to be an NPC on stream.
    • The bonus panels have various non-player characters protest the trend of playable characters pretending to be them. However, one of the protesters is Tingle who has had a few games of his own, and admittedly, any Americans (or Europeans in the case of the other one that is mentioned) probably think that the games are made up for the comic. And Tingle is outcasted as a result of Wii Fit Trainer stating this.
  • As the title suggests, Torture of the Koroks has Toon Link do a 180 upon seeing a bunch of Koroks being tortured by various mechanisms. The final panel reveals that Link and Pikachu were the ones inflicting the torture, and neither side is ever aware of how close they were to reuniting.
  • "Gerudo No Evil" has Ganondorf do good deeds for the Hylians in response to seeing that he is wanted merely for "being a villain". His actions earned him a bit of respect from the locals... though this only leads to the authorities lowering the bounty by fifty rupees out of fifty thousand. Ganondorf decides to take matters in his own hands and threatens the person who made the bounty to drop it and make his nose a bit smaller.
Ganondorf: "Bounty: none." And under that, you write, "We apologize for our previous mistake. This man is handsome and friendly." Oh, and make my nose a bit smaller, too.
    • It's also worth noting that Ganondorf was still in just his underwear while performing all of these deeds.
  • While Isabelle hosts a launch party for Starfield on Master Chief's Forward Unto Dawn, Commander Shepard is trying to flirt with Dark Samus and leans on the blast door button, which sends the Starfield/Skyrim Adoring Fans into space.
    • Simon Belmont telling Shepard off for flirting with his girlfriend. Shepard then starts flirting with him.
    • After Isabelle gets knocked out by cake, Doom Slayer gets mad while Krystal mutters an "uh oh". The next scene has Master Chief lamenting the fact that he just had the ship fixed while everyone is floating among its scraps.
  • In yet another shitpost comic, everyone lost in Hyrule ended up returning home because they had each other on Snap map. Suddenly, the antagonists from the past shitpost comics (Gex, Chris Prat, Wooden Plank, and AI Isabelle) arrive at the door. Everyone freaks out as they believe that the past antagonists will take over the Smash house, so Isabelle calls the U.S. Congressmen Face Raiders from Face Raiders for Nintendo 3DS™ to sic them on the invaders. Soon after the attack, it's revealed that they just wanted to ask if they could live with the Smashers, so the Smashers allowed them to live in their treehouse, complete with an ending saying that fighting is not the only answer and that you should always talk things out before resorting to violence.
  • "Clash of (Monster) Clans" has Beedle finding Villager in the middle of a canyon. He tells the young boy that he should be careful as there are monsters outside, only for it to turn out to be an ambush. As the Villager's monsters were capturing Beedle, Young Link shows up with an army of Lynels, leading to a chaotic battle led by two children each commanding an army of monsters. Beedle would later attempt to explain the bizzare situation he was just in to Link and Pikachu, only for them to send him to the Lanayru Mental Asylum. This means Link and Pikachu once again miss meeting up with another one of their comrades.
  • The Yiga Chief has developed feelings for Zelda, but he has to reject her due to his duties with the clan and plans to gently reject her so she'll stay. Zelda, on the other hand, just escapes the Depths and gives him the finger, leaving him at the bar to cope.
  • The bonus comic for "Gloom Link" has Simon announcing he and his girls have expanded their family... by adopting cats.
Falco: (tending to Isabelle, who had fainted due to assuming the obvious) WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WORD IT LIKE THAT?!.
  • A Christmas Warol mini-arc:
    • Isabelle showing up in Wario's house while Wagooigi is still there. (Normally, the Ghosts of Christmas don't show up until after Marley's left).
    • As revealed in the first chapter, Kazuya plays the role of Bob Cratchett. Obviously that means he's going to go home to his adopted Piranha Plant, right? Nope, instead, we're treated to the sight of Jin "Six foot tall walking fridge" Kazama in a far-too-small ragged green shirt and accompanying crutch as Tiny Tim, or rather, Tiny Jin played absolutely unapologetically straight. Wario even comments on how "unhealthy" Tiny Jin looks. Also the hilarity of how Kazuya and Jin are actually loving to one another.
    • The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come being Sans and Sephiroth doing a Totem Pole Trench. They even banter at a couple of points.
      • Wario's response to when they appeared sells it.
    • The ending reveals the mini-arc to be a stageplay. The moment the play ends, Jin and Kazuya are back to glaring daggers at each other.
    • Vaas Montenegro, Trevor Phillips and Conker disliked the Layton/Aerith sub-plot as they thought that the sex and violence detracted from the wholesomeness of the main story. Considering the games where they come from...
  • Link and Pikachu realizing they have Young Link after seeing him and his Lynel papa in a diorama they just set up.
    • Meanwhile, Kilton makes a soliloquy about actually interacting with monsters... and his face when talking about riding Lynel clearly looks like he's almost drooling.
    • Thanks to Link and Pikachu reuniting with Young Link, Kilton gets to ride a Lynel (the wholesome way; that is, like a horse). Said Lynel is clearly not amused, while his mate is giggling at his predicament
  • Link gives Purah the idea to make a "scantily clad himbo" tracker so they can find Ganondorf (who's with Toon Link).
  • Zelda makes a rather ridiculous face while trying to pull the Master Sword out of Tears of the Kingdom Zelda's forehead (who's a dragon).
    • Upon seeing Zelda with the Master Sword while riding the Light Dragon right on her doorstep, Purah indignantly writes "Whatever the fuck is going on here" on her map (which she has previously used to mark Hyrule's regional disasters)
    • And speaking of the regional disasters, the Gerudo one is labeled "Gerude Sandstorm", while the one at Death Mountain is labeled Stoned Gorons.
  • Zelda looks confused while shaking Tears of the Kingdom Zelda's hand, a tearful Purah hugging Ganondorf goodbye and the final lines:
Pyra: So? How was Hyrule? Did anything interesting happen over there?
    Ganondorf: Meh.
    • Ganondorf helps revert the Light Dragon into Tears!Zelda by ordering a Hinox to do a Heimlich on her so that she coughs up her secret stone.
  • The bonus panel has Villager getting what he deserves as he marches back into the Smash House.

     Ultimate Battle Royale
  • Dark Pit, Sora and Young Link find and unlock a mysterious coffin in the basement, revealing...they don't know what it is (it's Tabuu). Granted, none of them were in Brawl (Young Link was replaced by Toon Link, Sora wasn't invited until Ultimate, and Dark Pit didn't even exist at the time).
    • When Tabuu leaves by flying up, Wolf thinks that the kids were playing with X-Bombs.
  • Tabuu knows that he's virtually powerless and seeks help, so he decides to enter a bar wearing a trench coat and mustache.
    • When asking about who their strongest warrior is, the patrons start with Arceus and Liu Kang, remembering that the former is under Sora's command. It eventually goes into a debate between Bayonetta, Dante and Kirby.
      • The fact that Tabuu left before getting an answer might mean he doesn't want to deal with gods, people that can defeat gods, or Kirby.
      • Kasuga talking in Japanese. When translated, the first part sounds like he's questioning if Nathan Drake can actually fight Arceus and Liu Kang; the second part suggests Palutena but Drake points out she was defeated by carrots (in reference to that anime short).
    • As Tabuu is lamenting, he is offered a partnership by the great and majestic Galeem...which was evidentially cut in half by Sephiroth judging by the tape holding his core together.
    • The sight of Tabuu sulking on a rooftop over, essentially, having no friends is rather awkwardly silly.
  • Galeem and Tabuu are talking about their respective defeats and how to determine who is the strongest when Tabuu suggests that they force them to find out. Cue Master Hands bursting into the Smash House and all around town capturing various video game characters.
Ratchet: Guys what's happening?! Where are they taking us?!
    Sonic: Damned if I know!
    • Lara Croft correctly deducts what is happening and explains everything to Mario. When Mario asks where she got the information, she points to a poster on a nearby tree.
  • Once Tabuu and Galeem explain the rules to the Battle Royal they add that there will be a cash prize to the winner, Wario, Tom Nook, Moneybags and Garrett all fight each other to the death.
    • During their fight, Tom Nook seems to be getting the advantage over Wario while Moneybags shows more ferocity than he did in his own game towards Garrett, and Starfy, a Palico, and a Chao decide to book it.
    • The bonus panels shows Q-Bert falling in love with Birdo after she saves him from Pyramid Head.
  • "Infatuation Spectation"
    • The first thing shown is Sonic and Coco Bandicoot trying to escape someone chasing them, only to end up at a dead end. They turn around in terror to come face to face with the Doomslayer...and Isabelle, who is riding on his shoulder and wielding Fishbones.
    • Isabelle is the one who ends up taking both of them out of the running via blasting them with Fishbones.
    • After Sonic and Coco are taken down, they end up getting brought to a boat where the defeated fighters are being kept...and are allowed to watch those left in the game. Meaning that everyone saw the two of them confess their love to each other and share what they thought was a Last Kiss.
    Mallow: We saw everything.
  • "Group Ahead, In Short, Ah Beautiful" has Otacon about to snipe The Chosen Undead, only for Lucca and Travis Touchdown to stop him. They explain that they have spent days getting all the Soulsbourne protagonists to a certain spot so they can watch the most epic battle of the ages against their respective bosses. Travis nearly sheds a tear at how beautiful it is...causing both fighting sides to take notice of their audience. The last page is Lucca, Otacon, and Travis whisked away by Master Hand with smiles on their faces.
