Go To

Part 2

  • All Iris's responses to the lawyers' stupid questions.
Phoenix: The youngest son, the 20-year-old, how old is he?
Iris: He's 20... much like your IQ.
Iris (after Apollo asks a long and nonsensical question): That question should be taken out and shot.
  • The Judge has his moments.
Phoenix: Your honor... is it true that when a man dies in his sleep, he doesn't know it until the next morning?
Judge: Did you actually pass the bar exam?

Part 3

  • Phoenix tries to get out of not showing up for court by claiming that God told him to come some days, but not others, and "The message today was to come in." The judge's response?
Judge: As of now, the message is going to be that you are going into custody.
  • When getting Iris to testify about the sounds she heard from a man having sex, Phoenix asks her to give an impression of the sounds, and Iris complies, to the tune of "Pursuit: Keep Pressing On." He then asks Dahlia to repeat what was just said, and Dahlia also gives her impression.

Part 4

  • The entirety of the Denver Fenton Allen trial sequence.
  • Toward the end, the Caretaker confesses that he didn't think the offense he was on trial for was as serious as it was, and he thought that he would only lose his food stamps. The Judge asks him if he'd commit the crime if it were a misdemeanor and not a felony, and the Caretaker says yes.
  • After that, there's this exchange on how out of touch the Caretaker is with reality.
Apollo: Do you know what a trial is?
    Caretaker: Yes, sir.
Edgeworth: Explain to us what a trial is.
Caretaker: It's when a bunch of people find you guilty.
Klavier: Yeah, that is about right. On occasion, they find you not guilty.
    Caretaker: I am guilty.
    Edgeworth is taken aback.
    Judge: That is correct.

Part 5

  • Phoenix opens two envelopes in court.
Phoenix: Within the first packet- first packet says, "We have no records."
Godot: (does a Spit Take) What does the second packet say?
    Phoenix:(Beat) "See the first packet."
  • The "Exciting Dialogue," section, in which Phoenix, Apollo, Edgeworth and Franziska discuss various packets of evidence, to the tune of "Pursuit: Keep Pressing On."
  • Phoenix accidentally calls a witness named Mr. Powers "Mr. Penis."
  • "Coke Expert"
Apollo: We weighed the cocaine up and made sure that each unit weighted a kilo and did a general purity test on it.
Judge: H-How did you do a general purity test on it?
Phoenix: [Drinking Coffee] Well, we snorted a bunch of it.

Part 6

Part 7

Finale

  • One witness named Dick complains about being nicknamed "little dick" as a child. Rather appropriately, he's played by Dick Gumshoe.
  • "The Fast Talker" has Winston Payne start talking so quickly he's incomprehensible, with the screen zooming in to his face as he speeds up.
