• The White Noise are discusing among themselves about the fact that all the wielders are lesbians.
  Voronin: Plus there’s the girls at that school. You know how they’re all supposed to be Gear candidates? I swear, not one of them is lower than a two on the Kinsey scale.
  Gowon: The Kinsey scale-
  Caprice: Is a demonic deception perpetuated by the secularist society trying to lead potential converts away from salvation. Right?
  Gowon: Actually, I was going to say that it’s assignment of numerical values is a gross oversimplification of a concept as complicated as sexual identity, something even Kinsey admitted, and it takes no account of gender identity or romantic attraction.
  [Everyone stares at him.]
  Gowon: What? I read a lot.
• Shirabe, Kirika, and Elfnein are in a Haunted Hospital attraction at an amusement park. While Kirika is scared out of her wits end, Elfnien spends the entire time critiquing about how much of a mess it is. Then as they leave, Elfnien ends up jumping in the air due to someone sneezing.
• Miku's Training Session
  • Miku is having a hard time trying to summon her Amalgam, leaving them at a loss. Maria wonders if their approach of trying to put Miku in danger in a simulation is the problem.
    Tsubasa: Instead of trying to convince her that she’s in danger, we convince her something she cares about is in danger. The question is, what does Kohinata care about enough that might work?
    [They turn to Hibiki]
    Hibiki: What? Is there something on my face?
  • As the group are congratulating Miku for accessing her Amalgam for the first time. Chris thanks to Hibiki for her job in helping Miku. Hibiki gives a reply is something she should not have said straight to Chris' face:
    Hibiki: Aww, Chris-chan, you can admit that I managed to make you worried. You’re such a Tsundere.
    Narration: Chris went stock still, her face blank. Maria rolled her eyes. Miku and Tsubasa sighed in unison, the latter pressing a finger to her temple. Fujitaka chuckled. Elfnein mouthed the word to herself in confusion. Shirabe and Kirika exchanged a knowing glance before ducking behind Miku.
    Hibiki: Erm… Chris? You okay?
    Chris: What did you just call me?
• Qiao Cai mentions that there has been a lot of artwork of the Adaptors on the internet after their identities became known. When Shirabe shows interest, Tsubasa and Maria quickly warn the others that they will wind up stumbling across a lot of porn if they try to search.
• Maria's Birthday Celebration:
  • Yumi mentions that Shiori has been acting odd recently, mentioning that she's been really clingy with her:
    Chris & Komichi: [Turns Red]
    Hibiki: [In Complete Honesty] What do you mean?
    Yumi: Well… she’s been climbing into bed with me, wanting to take baths together, hugging my arms or sidling really close whenever we watch anime. I even walked in on her changing once.
    Hibiki: [Still Not Getting It] Huh… That sounds a bit familiar. You really think it’s because she’s getting lonely?
    Chris: [Face Palming] God, Buddha, Enki… hell, I’ll even take Shem-Ha. Just save me from these idiots.
  • Shirabe mentions to Yumi that she and Kirika are almost done with their summer homework when Hibiki says she hasn't even started it. When she asks them why they are staring at her:
    Miku: Hibiki…
    Hibiki: Ah, Miku! I was… I mean… I just...
    Miku: You still haven’t started your summer homework?!
    • Then after Miku tells Hibiki that she is going to work on it as soon as the get home, Hibiki can only say yes, making Chris mouth "Whipped" to Hibiki's face.
• The Valentine's Day Omake:
  • When Hibiki, Miku, Shirabe, and Kirika enters Lydian, they are all end up being mobbed by girls wanting to give them chocolates, while Kawada films the chaos.
  • Chris has to go on the run once she is spotted, wondering why so many of the people following after her are females.
  • Finally, Tsubasa and Maria have a large amount of chocolate in two large piles given to them.
    Maria: So is it (the amount of chocolate) bigger or smaller now (compared to last year)?
    Tsubasa: It’s the same. I checked.
