Main Story

Arc 1

Chapter 1

• When Shinji refuses to wake up and get out of bed, Mana decides he needs some help in getting up with her shinai, leading to the following exchange:
  Shinji: [Realizing what she's about to do] Wait, Mana! I'll wake up! Please, just don't-
  Mana: HIYAH! [Hits Him]
• Kaguya and Yuzuru are racing to school when Yuzuru points out that Kaguya is about to run into two men carrying a sofa, which she dodges. As she turns around to brag how such a cliché failed to stop her, she runs into a light post.
  Yuzuru: [Shaking Head] That was your fault, and only your fault.
• Kurumi and Miku are talking at the entrance of Rindouji High when they hear a scream, recognizing who it is:
  Miku: [Sighing] Sounds like she (Nia) was up late again, wasn't she?
  Kurumi: I guarantee it.
  Nia: [Rushes Towards the School, Trips Over A Brick and Falls, Breaking Her Glasses]
  Students: [Wince]
  Nia: Not again...
• After Shinji and Mana break out of the shared trance that brought them outside of the spacequake shelters, the first thing that comes to Shinji's mind is to ask Mana why she's even there. Then he asks himself the same question.
  Shinji: Mana? Why are you here? [Beat] Wait, why am I here?

Chapter 2

• When Phantom is trying to explain things to Tohka, and tells her to seek out Shinji and Mana, Tohka mentions that she has an important question to ask them:
  Phantom: [Tilts Head]
  Tohka: I want to know why the taller of the two (Shinji) didn't have these on his chest! [pushes her breasts up]
  Phantom: [Turns Completely Pink] Uh... t-the reason you need to find them is because t-they're important to the Spirits, and that's all I c-can say about it for now, so... please d-don't ask any further on that subject.
  Tohka: [Thinking] She completely ignored my question!
• Tohka is having trouble getting Shinji's attention when she spots him, due to him being distracted by the piece of her throne in his hands. So, to finally get his attention, she re-equips her Astral Dress and destroys it by shooting it with an orb of darkness.
  Shinji: What the hell!?
  Tohka: Stop ignoring me!

Chapter 3

• Mana is at Danny's with her friends when she sees Shinji walking past it with Tohka, the mysterious girl that they saw earlier, causing her to have a Spit Take that the others miss, then a bit latter:
  Mana: Ok, let me see if I heard this correctly. I saw my brother walk by in a way that caused me to do a spit take, which covered the whole window, and during all of that... all four of you had somehow blanked out and saw none of it!?
  Kotori: Eh...
  Natsumi: That's kind of, well... Yoshino, you tell her.
  Yoshino: Huh!?
  Mukuro: I make no excuses, and will confirm I did not.
  Mana: [Head Desk] Forget it, Mukuro's reply tells me everything.
• Then a little later, after Mana receives a message that Shinji needs help, causing her to leave in a panic:
  Kotori: Come on, let's follow her!
  Yoshino: Right now? But we haven't paid-
  Kotori: [Takes money from everyone places it on the table.] Yes we have, now get your asses up!
  Natsumi, Yoshino, & Mukuro: [Flinching while standing up to follow Kotori.]
• As Kaguya and Yuzuru are walking home after school, Kaguya seems distracted, when Yuzuru tells her to pay attention in order not to cause a repeat of what happened earlier:
  Kaguya: I know. It's just ever since the Spacequake, I can't shake this feeling that there's something important we forgot, be it just a general thought or something we had to do. My brain won't leave it alone.
  Yuzuru: You've never been able to let anything go, so why is this any different?
  Kaguya: Yeah, that's... [realizes what Yuzuru meant] hey, wait a minute!
• Kurumi, Miku, and Nia are walking toghther when a fan of Miku asks for a photo of her. Unfortunately, the flash causes Nia to drop her glasses, shattering them, so she asks Kurumi to give her one of her spare glasses, but when Kurumi does:
  [Glasses Shattering]
  Nia: Kurumi... how many did you break?
  Kurumi: [Nervously] All but one of them?
  Nia: [Glares at Kurumi before grabbing the remaining pair of glasses]
• When the Spirits manifest their Astral Dresses and Angels for the first time, Yoshino and Natsumi are confused when Zadkiel doesn't immediately appear, right until it appears underneath Yoshino in the form of a giant mechanical rabbit. This shocks Natsumi to the point that she almost passes out.

Chapter 4

• Nia is giving orders to the different Spirits when she turns to Ms. Okamine and Ai, Mai, and Mii.
  Nia: Hey, young teacher and... uh, Talkative Triad!
  Ai, Mai, & Mii: [Thinking] Talkative Triad?
• Kotori, after healing from being shot in the chest, goes to town on the Diabolus with a scary look on her face. Kaguya and Yuzuru worry that this was due to how she healed, only for Yoshino and Mana to say that no, she's normally like this.
  Kaguya: Holy crap... d-did she resurrect as a brainless zombie that can only rampage!?
  Yuzuru: Or, more realistically, did she hit her head when she crashed?
  Yoshino: Uh... no, actually. This is actually in character for her. You see- [stops when she sees Kotori swing Camael at the Diabolus]
  Mana: Kotori is actually a fireball with a fuse as tiny as a shark's, but she tries to hold it back around those she doesn't know. Westcott has done enough that keeping it under wraps has been completely tossed out of the window.
  Kotori: [Blasts Fire Into the Diabolus, Causing Flames To Burst Out]
  Kaguya & Yuzuru: [Wince]
  Tohka: [Sweat Drop] Glad she's on our side.
• Miku gives Natsumi a hug for her work healing civilians with Haniel. Natsumi is unhappy about this, thinking to herself that she will turn Miku into a frog if this becomes a common occurrence.

Asgard Electronics - Daily Observations

• The scene for Mio's file is a series of laughs from start to finish.
  • The opening lines:
    Mio stared at the sight before her, which she held in her hands, as a drop of sweat trailed down her cheek. The challenge before her was one that could make the strongest of men go insane, the most patient of women start screaming their heads off, and the bravest of children cry.
    For the incredible challenge she that currently in her hands was none other than...
    "Bah!"
    Her baby sister, Tohka, who she just now realized was a baby. More specifically, that she was a baby and Mio had no idea how to take care of her because Tohka was the first baby she's ever seen.
  • Right after telling herself that she should be able to figure out how to take care of a baby, Mio notices that Tohka is scrunching her face.
    Mio: Hey sis, what's going on with those... dance moves of yours?
  • It turns out she needed to burp, and it ends up being so strong that it causes Mio's hair to blow around like it was hit by a strong wind.
  • Then she notices Tohka pointing at something behind her, her smartphone.
    She turned around, noticing her smartphone on the ground. The smartphone that Shinji bought for her as a late birthday gift.
    The same smartphone that could connect to the internet, and search up any question Mio had... including how to raise a baby.
    Mio: [Embarrassed] Good thing no one was here to see that...
  • Mio ends up letting go of Tohka to search for info on her phone, only realizing that Tohka is missing after she's finished.
  • As Mio begins looking for Tohka, she hears the growling of a bear. Tohka is sitting right in front of it.
  • As Mio is running to Tohka, the following ends up happening:
    • The bear swipes its claw at Tohka, only for the Baby Spirit to catch it in her hand.
    • Tohka then proceeds to punch the bear through several trees.
      Mio: [In complete disbelief] She just... with a bear... through trees... like it was nothing.
      Tohka: [Crawls back and motions to be picked up]
