• Some of the character endings are pretty silly:
  • Mai's ending reveals why Andy didn't appear in the game: She tried to trick him into signing a marriage registration form by disguising it as the registration form for the tournament.
  • Blanka's ending. He boarded the wrong plane after the tournament and ended up in a zoo.
  • Balrog's ending reveals that he was Only in It for the Money. Unfortunately, he accidentally signed all his prize money away to charity, which goes to rebuilding Osaka after the Final Boss fight destroyed it.
  • In their special intro, Yuri does the iconic Dan Hibiki pose if she is facing off against him saying this match is going to be easy. Dan is outraged and does the pose and return.
  • In Chun-Li's intro with Yamazaki, Hon-Fu shows up and offers to help her before Yamazaki whacks him and makes him run off while clutching his behind.
• One of the announcer's post-match lines jokingly suggests that the winning team is Too Qualified to Apply:
  Announcer: Hey, who allowed them to join the tournament? They're way too strong to compete; I mean, what's up with that? Someone is going to have to take that team down!
