Starfishman's "costume" is really something, isn't it?

Sure, this might be a horror game, but it's still a horror game about SpongeBob.

• Patrick turning into Starfishman during the Mermalair, only for the cutscene to reveal that he's just in his underwear. Even Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble are confused.
• Spongebob and Patrick's reactions to Squidward finding three monsters in Goofy Goober's is to recreate their memetic Jaw Drop from the movie.
• As mentioned in Moments of Awesome, Patrick kicking the Alpha in Goofy Goober's in the ouchie spot so hard, it screams and faints. Everybody else present in that scene are surprised.
• Patrick Jumpscaring SpongeBob in the tutorial, just for laughs.
• The Weenie Hut Juniors Manager being a petty Jerkass to Squidward is also worth a chuckle.
• One of the extras in Industrial Park is a kick-me-here sign, during the first phase of the Jellien Plankton boss fight.
• Sandy's chase theme. While most of the other chase themes give off a feeling or horror (Jellyfish Fields chase being a slower and more ominous version of the Jellyfish Fields theme from Battle for Bikini Bottom or Goofy Goobers giving off an eerie, post-apocalypse-like atmosphere, growing more ominous each minute to the point where Ominous Latin Chanting can be heard as well), Sandy's Chase theme is just a 10 second loop of a sped up version of Hog Fever (a), a highly memetic song for Classic SpongeBob fans. It just sounds hilarious in contrast with the other chase themes, highlighting that Spongebob and Patrick are just about to get beaten up again instead of killed.
  • What's more, when she wakes up, Sandy's line implies she knew exactly who was setting off her alarm the moment she heard it.
  Sandy: "OKAY, PINHEAD LARRY, NOW YOU GET YOURS!"
• The three consecutive bait and switch bosses in the Art Gallery is hilarious. From the Nerdy Employee getting crushed by Jellien Dennis, to Dennis getting crushed by a piano that was (apparently) drawn by Squid Doodle... only for Doodle Patrick to fall right on top of Squid Doodle.
  Doodle Patrick: My, that was drawn out of proportion. (Puts on an extremely goofy expression as a Laugh Track plays)
• In the Goo Lagoon intro cutscene, Mr. Krabs beats the shit out of Patrick for siphoning the gas out of the boat to make some room for the mayonaise. And if you talk to Mr. Krabs, he'll imply that he's going to continue kicking Patrick's ass after he regains consciousness.
  Mr. Krabs: Go scout out those establishments, Mr. Squidward. I need to finish me conversation with this kelp-for-brains.
• In the same cutscene, Jellien Larry can be seen stumbling on the road, still partially melted from the mayo being poured on him at the end of Larry's Gym... Only to get ran over by Mr. Krabs shortly afterwards.
• If you get close enough to the boat after getting the Mayo from Weenie Hut Jr's, Patrick will tell Squidward to hurry up because Mr. Krabs is giving him the stink-eye again, clearly dreading the incoming beatdown.
• The return of Nosferatu during the ending cutscene of the Krusty Krab.
• Three of the death messages from the Industrial Park and the first part of the Jellien Plankton fight are worth a few chuckles:
  It's generally a good idea to avoid falling into pools of radioactive goo. Just saying.
  You might want to get away from a mayo tower that just got struck by Plankton. It may explode, y'know?
  Watch your step.
• There's plenty of the death messages that criticize you for dying in completely avoidable ways. Two notable examples that are definitely worth a chuckle are one from SpongeBob's Pineapple where you get Gary but fail to make it to the exit and the other is in Rock Bottom when you wander out too far in the sand before speaking with Mr.Krabs and get killed by a Nestler:
  Dude, it's not that hard, just run to exit, LOL
  What were you expecting? Fanfare and some confetti? A clamsicle, perhaps?
• Being crushed by the doodle anvil drawn by Doodle Patrick in Goofy Goobers.
  You've been erased ol' chap.
• During all three endings of Squidward's, Patrick's, and SpongeBob's homes, they end with SpongeBob backing up the boat to get away from the Doodles. In the Squidward ending, he promptly crashes into what appears to be the Krusty Krab, probably because he was driving in reverse.
  Squidward: Well... you backed up.
• The premise of the "Chef's Calamity" minigame is sure to give a good chuckle. The Chef Prowler has resurfaced only this time they managed to get their tentacles on the Infinity Gauntlet! No seriously, we kid you not!
• The Overlord himself has a funny moment in the cutscene right before his boss fight. As the background changes from the Rock Bottom Museum to the Bubble Bowl Stadium, the Overlord will seemingly look around in utter confusion, before just shrugging as if saying "whatever" and going along with it.
• Honestly, the moments where Krabs just drops an f-bomb are pretty unexpected and hilarious.
  Banging and growling from the office
  Mr. Krabs: What's that noise? Mr. Squidward?
  A large Alpha busts through the office door
  Mr. Krabs: What the [dolphin noise]-ck?!
• Jellien Plankton shouting "YEET" or "BEEP BEEP EUGENE" in his boss fight as he throws boatmobiles has to at least get a small laugh out of you.
• How does the terrifying Mrs. Puff clone meet her end? A whoopie cushion on her seat, which causes a massive explosion… for some reason.
• Every aspect about Jellien Puff and her level is terrifying and nightmare fuel, however her running animation is absolutely hilarious.
• If you complete the Krusty Krab level on the hardest difficulty, the ending cutscene shows the Jelliens getting shot up with mayo while The Flying Dutchman can be heard getting beat up and begging for mercy.
