TV Series
- The TV series / film is essentially a Spiritual Successor to My Dinner with Andre. With regards to the earlier movie, Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory were adamant that the characters they played were not exactly cases of As Himself and maintained that if they ever remade the film, they'd swap roles to prove the point. In The Trip to Italy, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon essentially do swap roles, thus putting this into practice.
