  • Part of Mr. Taylor's sales pitch to the Levines in Washington D.C. is that he can select the best places to eat during their trip. When the family runs into the antisemitic bully again at a diner, the diner staff stand up to the bully and offer the family a free dessert for their troubles, proving that Taylor made a good selection for an eatery.
  • Homestead '42, which relocates Jews from high-concentration communities in places like New Jersey to small rural communities, not only puts increased pressure on Jews to abandon their cultural heritage, but it also effectively gerrymanders them as a voting bloc, spreading them out thinly across the country so that no politician need curry Jewish votes to win an election.
