Fridge Brilliance
- Good Morning Ninjago may seem like a simple Shout-Out to Good Morning America, but it also continues the movie series' trend of characters greeting their everyday lives. Just like how Emmet Brickowski greets his apartment, city, and neighbors and Dick Grayson greets his new home at Wayne Manor, the citizens of Ninjago greet the city in the news show's introduction.
Fridge Horror
- The warehouse that serves as the ninjas' base is shown to have once belonged to a company called Brick Recycling whose motto is "Remake your world over and over". Was this company once responsible for restoration efforts to the city after Garmadon's attacks, and since the warehouse had closed down before the ninjas set up their base there, did they eventually give up on trying to restore the city knowing that Garmadon would just keep destroying it?
- In one of the music videos from the movie's bonus features, "Everybody Have a Ninja Day", the citizens of Ninjago sing "We traveled from cities from miles around 'cause all of our cities burnt to the ground". Sounds like Ninjago isn't the only city Garmadon has attacked.
- Remember that scene in which Garmadon fired his General #1 during a late part of the beginning? Remember the consequent firings of his generals after that and of Olivia after he conquered Ninjago? They all appear on the Canyon of General Unhappiness, all hell bent to take revenge on Garmadon... and they weren't the only. There were a lot more than what we saw in the opening shot of the fires, meaning this wasn't the first time that Garmadon had replaced his General #1 over, and over, and over again...
