Fridge Brilliance

  • Why does a failed clone of Yharon turn into a bird? Because birds are evolved from reptiles!
    • Additionally, Yharon being part phoenix and part dragon may suggest that he's the middle evolutionary step between reptiles and birds. Knowing this, it could be that the cloning scientists accidentally accelerated evolution too much.

  • Given that the Terrarian is a blank slate for the player to project themselves onto, one might wonder why Xeroc doesn't smite us like they did with Ignalius, given that we might have the exact same motivation for fighting him. However, given that we helped solve their eons-long Noxus problem, they might feel compelled to entertain us.

  • Why does Yharim raise us to kill him? Because everyone else is either far below his power level or far above it, and we're the only one who can grow stronger and reach it.

Fridge Horror

  • The Devourer of Gods and the Storm Weaver were the only two members of their species. Considering that you have to fight them in order to progress, you've just driven a species to extinction. While this is partially justified as they were trying to kill you, it doesn't make it feel any better.
    • If the tooltip for Metastasis is to be believed in, it's probably for the best you killed them as the Devourer of Gods, if it continued its quest for power, could have become nothing more but a vile, undead abomination hungry for everything.note
A contemplated possible future of the cosmic serpent, a gruesome warning for those blinded by the hunger for power.

  • The Astral Infection is just a byproduct of Noxus in its dormant state, yet it was able to weaken Astrum Deus to the point where it could easily be eaten by the Devourer of Gods. If that is Noxus' power in its dormant state, imagine what it would be like at full strength.

  • According to the lore, Yharim took over the world, fought Xeroc, became depressed, and now sits there wallowing in his misery. The world must have fallen into chaos with the current ruler doing nothing at all.

  • The Storm Weaver's mandibles and tail are bent when it's in its armour, but turn straight when out of it. Who designed its armour, and why?
