Fridge / Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans

Go To

Fridge Brilliance

  • There's a notable foil between 2003 Raven and 2003 Trigon. The latter treated his 2013 counterpart poorly towards the end, nailed home by his betrayal and insults before he's eaten against his will. He represents the fanbase that has negative views of Teen Titans Go! and takes it too seriously. Raven asks her Go! counterpart to eat her in order to absorb her powers (because her own mouth won't animate that big, acknowledging her capabilities). She represents the positive views of some of the fanbase who respect that the 2013 show was meant to be satirical. You can guess which duo comes out on top in the end.
  • Why was 2003 Trigon acting silly, such as demanding soda? Because he was resurrected with Go! Raven’s soulself.
    • The 2013 Trigon, likewise, becomes more serious after absorbing his 2003 counterpart. The more comedic traits, however, are still present because the silly (2013 Trigon and Raven's demon powers) outweighs the serious. The inverse is true with 2003 Trigon, whose comedic moments come mostly from him being The Comically Serious.
  • Why is the giant Raven called "The Unkindness"? Because that's what a flock of ravens is called! And 2013 Raven turned into "The Unkindness" by eating a whole flock of alternate Ravens.
2013 Beast Boy: With all those Ravens, you could be, like, a Mega Raven! You'd have the power of an entire flock.
