• The fact that Robin is an enchanted prince here, but Kermit's nephew in later Muppet media, and Sweetums' different characterization and voice can be explained by the fact that the Muppets are actors. Robin was always Kermit's nephew in real life: he just plays an enchanted prince in this production. Likewise, Sweetums was always a Gentle Giant who only plays a bad guy here, and maybe his voice was dubbed because he couldn't muster the right sinister tone.
