Ash's watch is now on a badly burnt right wrist. Notice the location of the fingernails seen just below Dean's bracelet.

This is the Fridge items page for the episode "All Hell Breaks Loose, Part One" (S02, Ep21) of Supernatural.

Fridge Brilliance:

  • At first Andy's comments about using gay porn as retribution seems homophobic, but when you think about it you realize that Andy must watch gay porn to have the images in his own mind for export. The possibility that Lily may not be the only Special Child who isn't straight also makes Andy's concern about Dean not being present and possible jealousy when Ava is hugging Sam take on a new light.

Fridge Horror:

Fridge Logic:

  • The only vehicle besides the Impala parked at the Sunnyside Diner is a red and white 1960's Chevrolet Fleetside pickup with an Iowa license plate reading 5K38 AL. This truck presumably belongs to the murdered customer, which leaves you wondering where the cook and waitress parked.
  • For some reason the cobbler's bench is sitting outside instead of being inside the cobbler's shop.
  • What happens to Bobby's 1968 Ford F-350 pickup that he leaves parked alongside US Route 65, when he gets in the Impala with Dean to go to the Roadhouse?
  • When Ash looks at his watch after hanging up with Dean, it is 8:09 a.m., but the music is playing at the Roadhouse and there are more customers than one would expect at this time of day in a bar.
  • Ash is wearing his watch on his left hand, as most right handed people do, when talking on the phone to Dean. However, when Dean finds the watch among the rubble, it encircles a very badly burnt but clearly right wrist.
  • The fire at the Roadhouse appears completely extinguished when Bobby and Dean arrive. The ruins has cooled enough for Dean to touch the sterling silver watch with his bare hand. Given the lack of any emergency responders and left behind bodies, it seems unlikely that the fire department responded. But it is also hard to swallow that the fire caused such extensive damage and then burnt out and cooled off on its own while Bobby and Dean drove to the Roadhouse.
  • When was the last time you received a receipt from a gas station that had your name printed on it? D. Hasselhoff is printed next to "Customer:" and under the signature line on the receipt in Sam's pocket. Also, the signed copy is going to be the merchant's copy of the receipt, not the customer's copy. Finally, why would Sam have this receipt in his pocket, if Dean was the one who paid for the gas? As Sam said to Andy, "It's hard to explain."
  • There are a few differences in the scene in 6 month old Sam's nursery between this episode and the Pilot. I suppose this could be attributed to the Yellow-Eyed Demon being an Unreliable Narrator.
    • In this episode, Sam has a blue and white check bumper, green and white check sheet, and a blue fleece blanket. In the Pilot, Sam's crib has a white bumper, black and white plaid under-sheet, and a multicolor quilt, and Sam is swaddled in a white blanket with a stuffed bear in his crib.
    • In this episode, the nursery curtains are blue with a pattern including sports symbols and the word "pro". In the Pilot, the curtains were white with a pattern including baseball bats, baseball gloves, baseball fields, and baseball players.
    • In this episode, the baby is crying and upset with dark eyes. The baby is smiling with light blue eyes and long eyelashes in the Pilot.
    • Baby Sam is wearing a white long sleeved onesie with a small square pattern in this episode. In the Pilot, baby Sam also is in a long sleeved white onesie, but it has a striped pattern with snaps on the front.
    • When the man who Mary thinks is her husband says "Shhh", Mary replies "okay" in this episode. In the Pilot, she replied "all right".
    • The bookshelf next to Sam's crib is white in this episode, and is filled with a stuffed race-car, a monkey in a box, and lot of other stuffed animals and toys. The bookshelf in the Pilot is dark wood, and seems to have diapering supplies and a stuffed bear on the shelves.
    • A stuffed bear, some difficult to identify gray animal, a penguin, and a small lion, sit on the shelf on the wall next to the moon nightlight, in this episode. While in the Pilot, a stuffed donkey and 3 teddy bears sit on this shelf.
