- Why Julia's descendants are all geniuses: her original daughter had Down Syndrome, and Julia clearly didn't care much for her, leaving her to die on Earth while finding the time to save a member of her staff and her own skin. To be fair, even a decent parent who actually loved their daughter would likely want to fix or compensate for her disability in future children.
Fridge Horror:
- President Julia's daughter had Down Syndrome. How did her daughter die? Did she give her daughter "the pill" before taking off to save her own skin, or did Julia just leave her at the mercy of the Hard Rain? Was the girl high functioning enough to understand what was going on?
